currently watching: invincible + six feet under + severance, whenever they come out with season three.

current obsession: idk... being outside lol. i fell asleep on my balcony last night. keep sneaking away at work whenever i can, just to get out of the building for a while. long wandering walks almost every day. gonna kayak on lake superior around the pictured rocks this summer. do some camping. set some bonfires etc. look at the stars.

currently reading: started the broken earth trilogy by N.K. jemisin, making my way thru book one. can already tell i am gonna like it.

currently working on: getting back into shape. saving more money. also studying to become a sterile technician bc i am soooo tired of patient care and my library career ambitions aren't exactly taking off (yet??? lol)

last google search: "drug interactions valtrex" bc i currently have shingles lol... fucking sigh.

I am still taking time to reflect on everything that happened in my life over the last three years (my dad's declining health because of cancer, one long relationship ending, one situationship with a friend I had feelings for also ending recently, two moves, and the loss of a pet).

I have felt guilty for not being active. I have felt shameful for not showing up and not nurturing the new friendships I found in the Wolfwren fandom. The truth is, I was trying to heal from it all on my own.

I am on this journey of self-love and trying to be kinder to myself. I miss engaging and feeling like I belong to a community. I am trying to come back at my own pace—not because I feel guilt, and not because I miss feeling loved here, but because I think I belong.

been waiting on season three of severance, i can't keep up with a lot of shows but sometimes i get hooked. reading a lot of poetry books lately, fave so far has been wendell berry's collection. have too many movies i love, but let's go with the most recent of them i watched, which is princess mononoke.

i'm not much for hyperfixations, i always seem to have several passionate interests i'm playing with at once, scattering me in all directions lol... i guess genndy's primal, since the new season just came out, and it's been on my mind a lot as a result

idk... a lot of things. watching urban wildlife. the way the sun looks dappled across water and leaves. anything that can be described as both beautiful and hideous. the grumbly old man sound my cat makes when he's getting comfy. instrumental metal music.
