Dreamed of a house I’ve never seen — knew it was mine, somehow. A beautiful empty canvas, but all of the power outlets were wrong. I remember thinking “that’s okay, I can just get adapters for all of my plugs”. And the second I went looking, I heard the walls themselves inside my ears telling me no.

Today I had a dream of an MMO similar to Phantasy Star online that supported six players, and the general goal was to climb a huge tower. Every level was practically a different biome and the whole tower was kind of a mystery. I remember playing it with some friends as it just came out and we got destroyed by the first boss. The first boss was some roided up gorilla-looking thing.
It was a fun dream.
Why did I dream that I lived in a grotty London house share full of women? That we all did retail shifts in the shop which was inexplicably above the flat?
It was such a beaten-down place peopled by women of all ages (the oldest was in her 50s/60s and was a professional cleaner and weed-procurer). We were all just kind of slumming it there to save money for our big ambitions.
And then I introduced them to FFXIII and it reduced them all to tears; they said it was the best game they’d ever played. We collectively agreed that its bad reputation was a conspiracy to prevent women from being able to play as bomb-ass female characters.
