I remember the first time playing DAO I was positively obsessed with the dalish lore. Finding all those codex notes about the elven pantheon, intriguing and mysterious. Then more and more, right until DAI made it even more fascinating. The Creators, myths and legends, betrayal, etc. And then comes a great reveal..
..and it was so ingeniously funny I still think about it years later.
Dalish elves: Fen'Harel is the most dangerous and cunning creature beyond the Veil. Lord of Tricksters. God of lies. He Who Hunts Alone. Fear him, do not ever speak his name for he might hear you. May the Dread Wolf never catch your scent!
