#drama!!

Like, instead of disappearing off to Europe and ghosting Buck, Abby breaks up with him, and then, after a too short waiting period, she starts dating Bobby.

Maybe she starts going to a grief group after her mom’s death and Bobby goes there too, or maybe it’s in the same building as his AA meetings, whatever. But they see each other again, get a coffee, talk, and things progress.

(Sorry Athena. You’ll still get him in the end, at least in the version I’ll never write.)

And then Buck, who’s already a bit of a post break up mess, finds out. Can you imagine the epic crash out? And we’re early s2 here, so they’re not all close like they are now, so he might actually get away with pulling his I’m going to transfer move.

With a soft shudder of breath, Frankenstein wakes. Raizel is steadfast at his side. Candle smoke fumes, heady and keen. Muscle and bone snags, as Frankenstein raises. Raizel helps him up as he struggles to find purchase on the oversoft mattress and mountain of sheets, which startles Frankenstein, but he can hardly summon power nor couth to protest. Frankenstein prods the sheets groggily off of himself as though they were gobs of sink-sand, leeched to him, looking distantly down at his hands were they a thousand miles away. "Wh—ere…" "Be calmed," Raizel assures. "You are under my protection. We are in the log cabin, some way from Bran." There is a slack pause. "Where Gideon rests outside," he adds.

I’m having the best day 😭 after work I randomly remembered a dress I really wanted months ago, but it was far too expensive for the purpose of wearing it as a nightgown around the house. I felt a strong urge to go check if it was on sale, so I did, & it was!! Not just on sale, but they had a discount on the sale items & the employee who I’ve chatted with before (hi Guadalupe!) then gave me an additional 10% off. Also it was the last one left, & it was in my size! I got home & did a little dance & settled in to be cozy with my new pajamas & was like shit, I could totally go for a glass of wine right now. I should have picked some up, but I’m already cozy so oh well. Right then my phone buzzed & I received a message from my partner that wine is on the way!! 🍷 He’s been calling himself The Truth Spitter for years.
