#vsmp drift

as for a situation to throw them into...... maybe post canon psychological horror territory. I think there's a premise where drift has abolish help her move out on her own and the whole time they're just chatting very impersonally. like oh drift you've been settling into detective work fine in this new area (read: have you been killing anyone) and oh abolish how's being a half vampire (read: are you happy like this? as something you said you didn't want to be? how can I be content like you?) as it goes on it's made apparent that drift is giving a very concealed cry for help (pyro style) regarding scott that she pretends is not happening which abolish recognizes but doesn't feel the need to act on, since if she needs help she should ask. they're both thinking to themselves why would there be a problem? scott hasn't done anything anyway.

since I went early pre vampire reveal for them last time, let's pick a different era of canon. hey! remember how drift was legit a member of the militia and went on multiple outings with the main 4? I think it would be cool to set something then, where sausage takes drift out on a duo militia mission and they run into owen. everyone in this encounter is very talkative. drift's making fun of owen and acting like she's not scared of him anymore, owen's full of taunts and threats, sausage is doing whatever it takes to make this scene interesting. I do think owen would swipe at drift the way he often does, she'd freak out, and sausage would defend her. but I do think they're outmatched here, so they're on the retreat.

Maybe she just wants it nearby as a reminder of who she used to be. Hanging onto the last piece of her appearance that didn't get criticized by others. It's the only thing she didn't change in order to fit in with the coven.

hmmm drift and sausage both do that thing where they focus on the physical attractiveness of a vampire. maybe when they're both vampires we can put them in a situation where they can't make vampirism pretty. like if they both get starved and end up decimating a ton of livestock and end up covered in blood together, feeling gross and sweaty and still impossibly hungry. I mean to me covered in blood is the most physically attractive a vampire can be but to them I'd hope it would shatter some of that romanticization of what they've become

okay as for a scenario... my first thought was drift actually committing to her "build a stage for owen to perform on" idea as well as all her talk about playing bingo in the bingo hall. and yes this can still be horror. so townie drift (still human atp) is cornered by scott and owen. maybe she got separated from the group, maybe she tried to be brave and go out alone (getting punished for trying to change her behavior), and starts frantically begging for them to just play a game with her!! improv comedy!! wow owen you seem like the kind of guy who would love theatre games and oh boy scott you seem like you'd be fun to hang out with!!!!! and owen and scott both like attention for different reasons so they indulge drift. but they take this opportunity to pitch to her why being a vampire is so much better and it would really just go so much easier for her if she agreed. if she doesn't, it'd get messy. and she doesn't want to make this difficult, does she? drift just keeps warbling about how they really don't have to hurt anyone... and owen and scott do the bullshit "it won't hurt if you agree to it" talk... I don't want owen and scott to sound like the same person but I do think they'd be on the same page in this situation lmao T.T really I think owen would get annoyed if it went on too long while scott would get bored if drift keeps denying being a vampire ("what's the issue? you could play games forever"). and I think drift runs like she always does... and then they do play a game together. they play tag.
