I attack with Ordruun Veteran and some others. Battalion abilities trigger; I respond with an overloaded Dragonshift. Does Ordruun Veteran have double strike?
If you cast Dragonshift in response to the triggers (in other words, while the triggers are on the stack), you will end up with a double striking Dragon. (Objects on the stack resolve in First In, Last Out order, so the Dragonshift will take effect before the triggers do.)
On the other hand, if you cast Dragonshift after the battalion triggers have already resolved, Dragonshift will make the Veteran lose all its abilities (double-strike included) as part of Dragonshift’s effect.
