Oohh it's flowershift.
What would FlowerShift (FlowerFell + StoryShift) be like?
Hmm. uhhh... HMMM...
I suppose that since Sans is in the role of Asgore in this universe, it might be a bit difficult. But perhaps it plays out differently than in FlowerFell - Frisk falls down from a different opening in the mountain and lands, quite literally, in Sans’s arms.
Almost like an angel.
I can see two varying routes for this scenario: Sans tries to fulfill his duty to his people despite the rapid pounding of his own SOUL and attempts to take hers, only to discover that every time she reappears before him, her body is covered with more and more flowers.
Rather than buttercups, I think they should be echo flowers. And each one, when prodded, plays the last moments leading up to her demise that time. Eventually, Sans accepts that not only can he not bear the emotional toll of ending Frisk’s life again, but that if he continues, he’ll only put more strain on her body. She’ll become so weak that her final fate would be far less merciful should there be too many flowers.
From there, I can see Sans trying to keep her presence in the kingdom a secret. But more monsters discover her and try to take her SOUL to deliver to the king, unaware that she’s become his most precious treasure. More and more flowers appear on her body, and using the voices of those that killed her recorded by them as his guide, Sans begins punishing them.
To the rest of the kingdom, it’s as though he’s gone mad. And in a way, he has. Maddened by love, being forced to choose between the love he feels for his SOULmate and the love he feels for his people...
It’s Toriel that makes the final flower appear, before Frisk decides this has to end. She’s grown so weak, too weak... and she can’t bear watching Sans turn against his own kin just to keep her alive. She believes her SOUL is a small price to pay for the happiness and freedom of monsterkind.
So, she breaks the barrier with her SOUL, and everyone can begin happy lives on the surface... except Sans.
The grief of losing her in such a terrible way is so great, their king crumbles away to dust right before their eyes, over the final fallen human’s lifeless body.
They’d finally gained their freedom, but at what cost? Did it really have to be this way...?
No, no it didn’t. Should Sans choose to ignore his duty from the beginning and foster Frisk in secret, she still is killed by several monsters throughout her stay and thus the echo flowers appear, but they’re far fewer in number than before since Sans didn’t fight her at any point.
He’s still angry, but his actions are far more rational, since she hasn’t grown so weak yet. His harsh actions came about as desperation to keep her alive, since Frisk could barely walk by the time he declared war against his own kind. With a more calm mind, he openly announces his love for her, that she’s his SOULmate, and anyone that tries to hurt her will be given punishment of the highest degree.
Whether some disagree with his stance on the situation or not, nobody tries to test the king’s waning patience too much.
Eee

Chara is so cccuuuuttteeeee
Chara is alive in Flowershift?
Yes, she’s alive just as she is in Storyshift, although she doesn’t play as large of a role here since Frisk’s condition and star-crossed romance with Sans takes up most of the plot.
Since she’s an incognito human as well, Chara feels a sense of connection with Frisk, a protective one - she wants Frisk to escape the Underground with her SOUL, while the flowers are at a minimum. But... the only way to do that is to claim the SOUL of a boss monster, right?
That’s Chara’s terrible plan with good intentions: she wants Frisk to kill Sans so she can escape, and so Papyrus will have no choice but to take the then vacant throne.
