Regardless of who is currently in control of the body, the other side is typically aware of whatās going on as well, but itās lucid, like theyāre there but only just.Ā
While in human form, Joseph will often feel himself losing to his other half when in states of strong emotion, but otherwise itāll simply be a feeling as if someoneās there. On the flip side, while in his werewolf form, his feral half will feel his control wane when presented with strong urges of humanity, for instance, if he meets someone he recognizes, or remembers that killing is bad.
While neither directly talk to one another, they each influence their other halves, and when their respective instincts become strong for one reason or another, it becomes a situation of fighting for room, if you will.
I donāt know if other werewolves in Magic behave this way, but I believe Joseph is this way as an unintended side effect of his soulbond with Sophia, his partner Gryff. Due to her only having bonded to his human soul, it keeps his two souls separate, forced apart where otherwise they would bleed together at times. This is also why Joseph is able to transform into his werewolf form while away from Innistrad, as his two souls donāt fuse back together off-world.Ā

What sort of magic does Aderyn use?

The main powers are summoning and controlling flying creatures, with an emphasis on birds!
When really angry (which isĀ rare) they can also use counter magic. This turns their enemiesā spells into birds, which they can then control. (Inspired by the card Dovescape!)
What's it like being guildless? Does it ever cause trouble for you?
"Honestly it's so much easier to be guildless when you are running a business. I feel like some of my more... traditional clients would perhaps feel a little more uncomfortable with me if I was officially part of a guild. And sure unless I have a good connection with someone there I don't get the benefits of being guilded but that's a cost I'm willing to pay to be able to continue my craft."
