I had a pool at my high school, was on the swim team and everything. It had a crack or something and kept slowly draining but they didn't care enough to get it patched. Instead they spent a ton of money, redid the football field and built a whole new three story building for the football team. Kinda still salty about it.

I don't have much of an answer. I had a lot more stories I wanted to write or wrap up. But the sheer viciousness of the Epilogues did, at least for now, ruin Homestuck for me. Instead of thinking of all my vibrant ideas and wanting to spin new stories and make things using that toolset, I just think of...
How I can write better stories. And how there are better stories out there for me to support with my time and money. Until that feeling subsides, I can't make the words happen for Homestuck. I would rather work with material that doesn't spit at me. And frankly, that material exists.

How long have you been doing art?
Oof, a little over a year for digital, and actually started taking it seriously then. But I was drawing since I was like 4-5.
