They do have children together! They didn't send their children away though. Issak decided it wasn't necessary since both he and Curisa live on the island year round, and she refused to be separated from her children. She does not have any dragonborne children without Issak though.

Oh that's an interesting question. I do think she would have. I'm just not certain when it would have been. She's very private, so it takes her a long time to really open up to people, and she's also afraid of her dragon herritage, so she doesn't like acknowledging it even to herself.

They would, but the weirdness would depend on which dragon king their decended from not necessarily the domains/powers of their dragonborne parent. Some are more noticable than others.
