happy valentine’s day! (it’s still valentines for me, at least)

i decided i would doodle toralaura! definitely not my best work but Who caresssssss

These two. Istg. I'm a big fan of the original Monster High, but I do genuinely like g3 (despite how I would change a few things about it, but I won't get into that.)

I love Draculaura and Toralei's dynamic in the show and I wish we got more of that. I live for Toralei's redemption arc she got in g3, and the potential for them to be a ship and whatnot.

Anyway, with that aside, I've got some headcanons. I'll make headcanons of both individuals in another post or so. Uhm, yeah, let's get on with it 🩷🧡

-🧡 Out of the two, Toralei fell the hardest for Draculaura. Like if you were to visualize it it would be like Toralei falling into concrete. That is how hard she crushed on Drac. (Though she has kept it secret.)

-🧡 It wasn't immediate, by any means, because yknow, the beef they had before. But with Toralei having turned a new leaf, and now being shown kindness, it stuck with her. For some reason, it stuck more when *Draculaura* was especially kind to her.

-🧡 But what really kickstarted the crush was the day Draculaura found Toralei alone in her dorm with the door halfway open and afterward pretty much comforted her and stayed with her. and let the were-cat sleep with her in her dorm.

(this is part of my own delulu story but I imagine a scenario where Toralei was blamed for something at Monster High, and because she's been trying to change, it kinda just, shattered her slightly, so she kinda isolated herself up until that point. I'll get a full story figured out when I can.)

-🧡 Like it eventually got to the point where Toralei was practically softly purring every time Draculaura was around her. (And nuzzling against her like an actual cat one time. No one mention that moment to her. She will scream.)

-🧡 Of course, try asking her about it and she'll hiss at you out of embarrassment.

-🧡 Toralei had been wanting to confess first initially. Maybe through a song she would've sang, maybe even poetry, even just a simple confession! But... Toralei never got around to it. She was... just, too afraid. Yes she's changed, but sometimes memory and the guilt, the absolute guilt of how she treated Draculaura (and pretty much some of the other ghouls) sometimes haunts her. By sometimes, I mean a lot. But that's another story.

-🩷 Now, Draculaura didn't fall at first. Out of the two it took her a bit, but once she fell for Toralei it was almost like a softer fall.

-🩷 At this point, while Draculaura still remembers the several times Toralei tried to get her kicked out for witchcraft, Drac has way more trust with Toralei now.

-🩷 So often times she finds herself being oh so gentle with the were-cat. It made her feel pretty mushy on the inside.

-🩷 If she was reading a book about spells either in the library or her dorm or witch lair, then absent-mindedly she has also most likely pet Toralei on the head.

-🩷 Draculaura at first is hesitant aswell. But not out of fear like Toralei. (I mean, yeah also partly because of the past, but she's more or so moved on from that.) But more like, she just isn't so sure about these feelings at first. But once she does figure out she truly has love for Toralei, then in secret she thinks of many different ways to perfectly confess to Toralei.

-🩷 Despite her initial hesitance, and wanting to perfect the confession, she caved in to Clawdeen and Frankie about it. With encouragement from her Boo Crew she confessed first without having to be overly perfect about it. Ultimately, soothing Toralei's fear and hesitancy.
