-My rendition of Vinestaff is very into crystals- more spiritually than casually though. Because of this, she has a pretty sizable crystal collection in her room.

-Spiritual healing is what she's the most into. However, do NOT ever confuse that for a lack of knowledge in medical healing. She knows a lot about first aid, probably the most out of the trio.

-In addition to not only being good at identifying plants, she's also really good at identifying any sort of crystals. Give her one look and she's already telling you the name of it.

-On a side note, I like to headcanon that the crystals that Medkit and Subspace have are manufactured- so, if Vinestaff ever sees them, she's gonna have a confused look on her face.

"These crystals... they're so odd, I don't think they're real ones like you see in nature..."

-Her room would have a tapestry both on her ceiling and one of her walls. She's also the type to keep incense sticks in her room too. Oh yes, it would also have vines hanging too, but she has to trim them once in a while too.

-Vinestaff is the type of gal to meditate. She can do this for prolonged periods of time. Sometimes that's led to either Shuriken or Slingshot thinking she's asleep sitting up.

-Meditation is her form of de-stressing. She used to do it often in the jungle when she found herself being stressed- before her siblings came to visit her nightly.

-Speaking of Thieves Den, when Vinestaff was exiled, she saw some creepy shit at night. I like to reckon there's folklore about creatures out in the jungle. Vinestaff hates talking about anything Thieves Den related, however she finds it fun to tell stories of weird things she's seen in the forest.

-Sometimes because of her experience and the folklore she used to overhear, she does question if they were real or not. But she won't know for sure.

-More on Thieves Den, I imagine before Vinestaff got fully exiled, she had to face pure passive aggressiveness from other inphernals, if they weren't outright spewing hate at her. Older inphernals in Darkage taught the newspawns to stay away from her because she is "cursed."

-There was one incident where newspawns were throwing pebbles at her. When she tried to get them to stop some of the other Darkage members villianized her. She really hates remembering that.

-interestingly, Vinestaff is extremely good at spotting when an inphernal is being outcasted in a group or community, she knows the signs like the back of her hand, from the body language of the other inphernals, to the words, to the mannerisms.

-she once saw an inphernal in Crossroads being ostracized from their group. And even though she's usually unsure about how to talk to other inphernals first things first, that was one of the first times she talked to another inphernal outside of her family on her own volition.

-Vinestaff never saw that inphernal again afterward. But she hopes they're doing okay.

-I like to headcanon that if she needs to, she can swing her wooden arm at full force if she needs to knock an inphernal back, since in my design, her wooden arm is more massive than her normal arm. She has to wind up slowly for maximum efficiency.

-The bottom of her gear is pointed sharp. She used to have to sharpen it when she used to hide away in the jungle for self defense.

-Strangely, everytime she's sharpened the gear, the bottom of it seems to never shorten, like it's already growing back when it's shaved down to be sharpened.

-Her wooden arm has a habit of overgrowing, so, she had to buy an axe. It's horrific to see her chopping away at her wooden arm, even though there's knowing she can't feel anything on that arm.

-Vinestaff's large wooden arm also prevents her from a lot of tasks. Like, she could wash the dishes, it'd take a million years on account of how careful she has to be.

-There was one time she tried to pick up a pen with her wooden arm. She was starting to get a bit frustrated, but thankfully Slingshot was there to do it for her.

-Though, she partly feels bad. She never said much, but she's acutely aware of how much more... unhappier Shuriken looks, and how stressed Slingshot looks ever since they moved away. Part of Vinestaff accepts and acknowledges that she can't change the way she was spawned. But sometimes she has those thoughts of, that, if she was spawned with both arms being normal, then maybe, her siblings wouldn't be miserable.

-Basically, Vine feels she ruined her siblings' lives. She questions what it would be like if things didn't turn out the way they did. Would they be happier if she wasn't the way she was? Maybe they should've left her in that jungle, she would've understood...

-BUT she makes an effort to not dwell on those thoughts. Instead, she tries to help Shuriken with whatever he needs, and Slingshot with Thieves Rest. All in an effort to repay them for their kindness and to try and make their lives a bit better.

-Interestingly, Vinestaff's tears can heal small wounds and in a large quantity, revive plants. She's never known why it can happen. But it just does! However, these tears can't heal bigger wounds. I mean, maybe they could if she had enough? But guys, I don't think she'd wanna spend hours crying.

-Yes, she does keep bottles of them in her room.

-If inphernals did have hair, her hair would be exactly like Rose Quartz's hair from Steven Universe.

-Vinestaff rarely, and I mean RARELY ever gets angry. You know you crossed a line when even she's mad. Though, just because it's rare for her to be mad, doesn't mean she can't be stern. She's a big sister, after all!

-Contrary to his vigilante look in the game/canon lore of Phighting, Shuriken will actually paint his horns different colors each night. One night you might see Silver Shadow with yellow horns. On another night you might catch him with dark blue horns, all of that fun stuff. If he's really feeling like it, he'll pull out the metallic paints.

-Sometimes he'll make little additional horn add ons, like sometimes adding smaller spikes onto his horns- it just makes it harder to figure out his identity, since he does realize someone could connect the shape of his alter ego's horns to him.

-Shuriken finds painting his horns fun. He doesn't like when he has to take the paint off at 3 in the morning 💔

-In his daytime outfit, I like to headcanon Shuriken has a crystal bracelet he wears made by Vinestaff. He specifically requested Malachite as the crystal.

-His tattoo is insane when you think of the process behind it. In my imagined version of things, brotastic went ALL THE WAY. From his fingertips, the skin between his fingers, and even the underside of his left arm (including his elbow) he went all the way to make sure the pattern reached around to his collarbone. He really wanted to make sure to commemorate his sister in such a meaningful way.

-Speaking of tattooing, he's very good at it. He even did a little lotus tattoo for Vinestaff on her upper right arm. Hell, he's even done one on Slingshot too!

-He would not be the type to do tattooing as a business. He sees it more as a sacred sort of thing, something he wants to do for family or close friends (if he had close friends 💔)

-This makes me think of something, I bet Shuriken is really good at art. His Silver Shadow fit was made by himself, and he did his tattoo all by himself- I imagine he's also really good at drawing too, so he has some small sketchbooks he keeps around. He doesn't really have the energy to draw sometimes, but somehow, they still come out good.

-Only reason you wouldn't know he's good at art is because Shuriken is too humble about it. He'll tell you how he can't draw a circle yet he's presenting you with the most jaw dropping sketch of one of his siblings or one of Slingshot's friends.

-Shuriken's habit of falling asleep in the middle of the day has gotten him in some situations. You could say he's garnered a little bit of a reputation that precedes him? Obviously he's not that well known, however ask the right inphernal in Crossroads and they'll cite how they've seen a "strange inphernal fall asleep on a powerline, tree, or literally anywhere."

-This also makes Shuri a bit insecure too. As stated in the wiki, he doesn't have much friends. So, having a bit of an odd impression on some inphernals doesn't make that better 🥲

-He's also unaware of the small cult following he's gained as Silver Shadow... until he sees a forum post online one night. But Shuriken doesn't really feel insecure about that- in fact, he's actually kinda happy about that. It's only a small motivator to keep doing what he's doing. Though at the same time... he worries about that fan following becoming a bigger thing over time...

-A little more of an angsty idea I have, is that Shuriken absolutely hates how much Slingshot pushes himself for Thieves Rest. And he feels bad for Vinestaff also being unable to make friends. Though, he's unable to articulate that well through words. He said the wrong thing to Sling one time when he was trying to get him to relax, and it ended in an argument. The two made amends later, but Shuriken never forgot about that.

-Shuriken, from last I remember in the updated wiki, does not care about himself. Not in the physical way, but more or so in his sentimental way. Adding onto the previous headcanon, he always blames himself silently, even if it were not his fault. If you're someone important to Shuriken, and get into a fight/argument with him, chances are he's saying it wasn't your fault, but his own.

-When you ask him if he would die for Vinestaff and Slingshot, he's full on saying "yes." No hesitation, nor explanation either. If it came down to it, he would be so down with giving up his life for them.

-This is also why he feels so guilty for his secret desire to go back to Thieves Den. He'd be so willing to give up the prospect of becoming a great warrior in the clan a thousand times more for the safety of Vinestaff and Slingshot. But at the same time, he really does want to go back. That again, which he feels so guilty for.

-I guess what I'm trying to say, is that Shuriken comes off as very altruistic to me.

-Ok, angst time over, there was a few images I saw from Sodakettle's twitter. It was for the Crossroads remodel. Specifically Shuri, Vine, and Sling's shared apartment room. In the main room they have, i believe there's a nintendo switch on the table. I headcanon that belongs to Shuriken.

-I feel like if Shuriken gave it more thought, he would probably get into ceramics. It sounds very fun and interesting to him. But, once more, he just doesn't have the energy nor the time for actually doing sculpting/ceramics.

-This guy would be into bugs, i know he would. Butterflies are personally his favorite, but he really likes any kind of bug. He's that one guy peacefully putting a spider outside while everyone else is freaking out about it.
