39. Have they ever been accused of something they didn’t do?“Well, that really depends on your definition of ‘accused.’ And of ‘didn’t do,’ depending on the incident. People rarely accuse me on a one-on-one basis of things I didn’t do - well, except for that time that guy said I stole a diamond when it was an independent thief I happened to steal it from after the whole- anyway. So, it’s sort of two parts. News sources have an annoying tendency to credit HM’s fearsome rampages as my own slaughters, which kinda ticks off both of us, but yeah, most individual people just phrase it as a question, which I’m not too fazed by. The other part, that’s where someone sees me do something, thinks it’s something else, and accuses me of the latter. Like, some random schmuck screams that I stabbed his friend through the back when, no, the guy literally fell on his own damn knife; I just wedged the handle between loose floorboards and drastically weakened the back legs of his stool.“Er, I haven’t really answered, have I. Yes, I think I have. Others might disagree, but I’ve learned to accept that people are wrong sometimes.”
