youve been doing well hiding your dog allergy from valko. youre only a little allergic, whats the harm in lying about it?
ĖāāŗĖ³ ć
Valko does remember you mentioning your bad allergies when you met a few months ago, remembering your nonstop sneezing fits when you guys started hanging out. he felt terrible not being able to really help, allergy season was at its worst after all :(
so when he notices you take allergy pills everyday with breakfast, he shrugs it off
that being said, he can no longer smell the tree pollen in the air and it seems you still take them daily.
*dćļ¾ļ½„* ć
at first he worries hes dragging different pollen and weeds into your apartment since he goes out all the time (he cant control how much he sheds, hes tried!!)
its straight to the shower once he gets home. so he has the rest of the night to sigh into his favorite spot right on top of you. loving the feeling of your kisses between his fluffy ears as he drifts asleep.
to his dismay, his wonderful mate still wakes up with slightly itchy cheeks, eyes red and watery first thing in the morning.
d:*+.: dćļ¾ļ½„* ĖāāŗĖ³ ć
its late, your living room dimly lit by the show youve been watching together. lazily leaning foward, just enough so you can pet valkos pretty ears as he sits on the floor between your legs. your hand reluctantly leaving his head for a second to gently rub at your itchy eyes.
āhey pup, why dontcha go to the doctor for your allergies already? Summer allergies arent so common ykow? could be something elseā
you roll your eyes and playfully tug at his right ear with your spare hand, eyes still on the tv in front of you, barely paying attention to the actual contents
āvalko ive told you already, theyll just tell me to keep taking the pills daily! tell me about the surpriseļæ¼ already, im getting ansty waitin for it!ā
āokay okay, weellll,,, one of my secretaries needs a favor and i kind of owe himā¦ā
Valkos always had only the best surprises but this catches you off gaurd, why would a favor he owes someone be exciting for you you hear his tail thump on the floor lightly in excitement, he tilts his head up just enough to meet your eyes with his.
āi sorrtaa volunteered you to watch a litter of puppies, four of em. just for the week!!ā
ā¦
āOhā¦! My godā¦!ā
his gleaming eyes, his tail tickling your ankle from its bouncing, theres no way out of this. he thinks youll love it. and theres no shot youre saying no to his dorky smile.
you try your best to seem excited, as any animal person would. as any person with two cats would. as the person who drags him to aquariums and kitty cafes nonstop would.
as his partner who hasnt told him hes been the one causing your stuffy nose the past eight months :((
when you hear the keys jingle at the door you know theres no more hiding it.
valkos tail and ears immediately slump upon seeing you on the floor of your apartment. your eyes puffy and red, arms all scratched up and worst of all the previously vacuumed, dusted, and spotless room is now full of little tufts of fur and used tissues.
three of the pups excitedly tumble their way to him at the door as one stays in your hold, trying to give wet kisses to your already bright red and itchy cheeks. valkos ears pressed firmly on his head, a betrayed and guilty look on your boyfriends face. its painfully obvious now. he had his suspicions before and stupidly let them goļæ¼
i dont really write much so if this is bad im sorru im sorry. i am my own target audience so like even if this gets ignored im okay. ik the grammer is probs bad and everything really, im having a bad week and i cant draw. i wanted to distract myself :3 writing this helped me fs. i am a little embarrassed by how much i ended up liking and missing valko. maybe i shud make an acc just for my writing,,,? im talking to myself here i dont even know if i shud post this whatever whayever usuwiejkehebe
also yeah im allergic to dogs sorry valko. i hope well be able to see his actual in game personality and quirks. bring back valko!!

I think you all should come whisper a little Danse brainworm into my ear please. Iām stressed and need to turn my brain off and replace all my anxieties with only Danse.
So they did something the night of the last supper, in that moment how I wished that this was a happier story because our Targbros deserve happiness
Thanks for the update and take care Im going on 2 weeks vacations for easter sooo I will miss your updates even more because I wont be as busy, see you next time.
I tried to drop VERY strong hints in previous chapters that Aegon, uh, got down on his knees for Jace that night. š³
Iāve been avoiding revealing what Aegonās thoughts are, but I think itās safe to say that the memory of the alcove has been in the forefront of his thoughts the entire war. š
I am moving very soon, so I wonāt have a lot of time to just sit down and write, unfortunately. But I do have lots of time to brainstorm, entertain what ifs, and share headcanons!
This is an open invitation for people to keep leaving comments and Asks, so I can keep the creative juices flowing. š„°
Iāve also been thinking a lot about my ājokeā that Lucemond hit a lot of the typical romance tropes. I actually kind of want to get a bingo card of romance tropes, and maybe Iāll write short drabbles of them fulfilling each trope in different AUs. š¤
Based on my favorite BTS picture of Gabe: Lorne takes a call while Chevy's hanging around his office, winds up sitting on the edge of his desk, and the combo of that sight, Lorne's voice and him effortlessly fielding some executive on the phone makes Chevy feel the need to kiss the life out of Lorne once that phone is back on the hook
OK I literally just saw that photo the other day and had it saved with intentions to use it at some point. I genuinely had something written for almost the exact situation youāre looking for so I tweaked it a little and here you go!!!
* * *
Lorne and Chevy sat together in Lorneās office, laughing easily, the kind of effortless conversation theyāve come to know. The phone rings, the shrill noise cutting through the room. Lorne groaned, pushing himself up from the couch to answer the phone. He picked up the phone, turning around to lean back against his desk, facing Chevy.
āLorne Michaels,ā he said smoothly.
āMr.Harrison!ā Lorne greeted positively, the way he held free hand to his forehead made him look like he was anything but. āItās good to hear from you.ā
āYes, sir,ā Lorne agreed effortlessly, his voice even and measured. Lorne threw a glance over his shoulder to his desk before he took a seat on top of it. He crossed one leg over the other. A pause. āOh, of course, sir. I understand completely.ā
Chevy watched, mildly amused at first. Lorne pointedly gave him a dry look as the man on the phone presumably droned on and on. Lorne picked up the phone base and set it in his lap, looking ready to end the phone call. Lorne leaned his head back, his gaze fixed on the ceiling, fingers drumming lightly on the phone casing.
āNo, no, no, I know. I agree wholeheartedly,ā he added, resting his elbow on the phone base. The words rolled off his tongue with such conviction that Chevy almost believed him.
In fact, Chevy had seen Lorne handle a hundred conversations like this before, but for some reason, this one had him utterly transfixed. Lorne turned his eyes to Chevy as he crossed the room. Chevy stopped in front of him, leaning against the desk.
āHonestly, sir, you may not know this, but Iāve been in the industry for a while now, and I have to sayāitās refreshing to hear from someone who really gets it. And Iām not just saying that to be polite,ā he added, though Chevy could tell he was feeding the guy exactly what he wanted to hear. Chevy reached up to lightly cup Lorneās cheek.
āYes, of course. A pleasure speaking with you as well. I look forward to hearing from you,ā Lorne insisted, not taking his eyes off of Chevy. āReally, thank you, Mr.Harrison. Have a great rest of your day. Yes, you as well. Bye now.ā
Lorne set the phone in the cradle and put it back on his desk beside him with a soft thud. He turned his head toward Chevy with brows slightly raised, mouth parted just a little like he wanted to say something but forgot how.
āWhat?ā Lorne asked.
Chevy smirked, his pulse kicking up as he leaned in closer, pulling Lorne in and capturing his lips in a deep, bruising kiss.
untouchable, leon. what does that word mean to you?
"un-touch-able." i had sounded it out in my head again.
a lot of words seem to start with "un" and end with "able"
unable. unable to defeat? undefeatable, understandable, undescribable, un-
"no." i had stopped myself again. "you'll be sitting here for hours thinking of words that start with un- and end with -able." i seemed to think too much.
"do you remember the last time you sat down and thought? let your mind wander? leon, you'll get lost again. you seem to get lost everywhere, including your own thoughts."
i had felt my body subconsciously slump down against the lockers, sitting on a bench. yes, that's right, i was here. i seem to drift off and think, wonder in my own world. wouldn't it be nice to escape from a reality? there's infinite realities. so many. what if there was one where i wasn't champi-
no, no, you're doing it again. you're thinking too much, you're a rational adult, right? an adult man. normal. perfectly fine...
my body loosened with a great sigh.
how could someone like me be "galar's treasure?" the "great champion?"
i drifted to "untouchable" again.
"untouchable. what does it mean to you? it... it means? touch... un-touch-able... no, wait, that doesn't sound right. do it again."
thinking out loud, i mumbled "untouchable" again.
why am i so hung up on this word? this is stupid... stupid, leon. stop it. no but i really can't- no, no, yes you can...
and again i said it aloud. and again, and again.
no i want it to sound right... i have to keep saying it until it sounds right to me.
and just like a name i knew for years, it rolled off the tongue. almost like i was chanting some sort of ominous incantation.
"untouchable. untouchable. untouchable."
what does it mean to you?
it means.. it means i can't be touched? no, that's not right. un-touch-able. touch.
"does anybody even like me? ...love me?" the thought budged itself into my mind.
"untouchable, right?"
yes. yes, that's the word. felt right. felt good.
untouched. unloved. im... loved? but not exactly... loved. there's nobody by my side for bad days- no, leon, you're still so young. romance is dumb anyways.
but my heart desires love? why am i so lonely?
wait, am i still saying that stupid word aloud? no, i can't really tell.
"untouchable..." i murmured, sounding it out like a teacher enunciating a word to their students.
im the undefeated champion. nobody can... touch me? nobody is as good as me... that's what they like to say, right? all those announcers and fans and business... people? whatever. they all like to tell me im "undefeatable," "amazing," "strong...," "...untouchable."
am i really that good though? sometimes i wonder what it had been like if i had just stayed in postwick. maybe i would have been a better brother. maybe i would have found love? or a career that im more... suited for.
after all, i really am just a small child stuck in a man's body forced to mature.

LITERALLY NO IDEA WHAT IāM DOING OR HOW TUMBLR WORKS STILL BUTĀ
have a slice of my thoma brainrot cake
WARNING: SPOILERS FOR THE INAZUMA ARCHON QUEST
- alright so my main idea here isĀ āwhat if thomaās vision was takenā
- we have two routes here: either heās able to recover and move on with his life or he completely crashes and burns. iāll cover both and my hcs for each
route a: he recovers
- ayaka definitely takes over the role of caretaker
- she does more of the housework, cooks meals for him, and avoids using her vision around him
- i think if he is able to get his life together, he would either sign a contract with taroumaru and work at the teahouse, or start up a restaurant (confirmed from NPC dialogue that he is an excellent cook)Ā
- another option is that heās more determined than ever to participate in the rebellian against the raiden shogun, and puts more effort into helping the resistance and other citizens in need (like he helped us when we first entered ritou)
route b: he crashes
- we saw from the quest (the three wishes(?) i donāt remember the name) how distraught those who have had their visions taken areĀ
- so what if that happens to thoma?
- i think heād have a major personality change. we see him right now as a friendly guy with connections here and thereĀ
- heād just hide in the teahouse or in the kamisato estate for a few days after, not wanting to be disturbed
- and afterwards, when he goes back out to the city, everyone kinda senses something is wrong
- no more smiles and waves from thoma, and he no longer stops to pet the cats and dogs that roam around
- ayaka tries to get through to him but he refuses help and puts up a wallĀ
- maybe he blames himself for getting captured
OR
- heās filled with rage at the raiden shogun and not thinking straight, he goes to confront her
- and that doesnāt end well.Ā
uh yeah those are my drabbles lmaooo sorry if itās bad - again i donāt know what iām doing - at all
You know, I absolutely adore playing as a dwarf. I have a heartfelt connection to them. But aside from my personal preference, I find the character development to be wonderful. In Origins, when you play as a noble, my favorite part about the backstory in general is how warden develops. He/she starts as royalty, some wonderful person who very well may absolutely hate being rich. Hates the way they are looked at, but knows no other way. Someone who does their duty unquestioning and loyally. Who thinks of battle as something as simple as dusting the house. Perhaps they are even in a forbidden love with their second. These things: hiding relationships, knowing your death is tangible on any given day be it by darkspawn or relatives, never getting to be seen as a simply normal dwarf, are just a normal part of life. Until everything changes. And youāre thrown into this world that is ever so bright and scary. Something totally different. And you, young warden, are so practiced in the ways you have lived that people often mistake you for being callous. Monotone. Unfazed. Theyāre not wrong. At this point, it takes a lot to rattle you. But this is your life now. And you must learn.
I love thinking about the various situations Aeducan finds themselves in. Stumbling out of the deep roads barefoot into the wardens, who are visibly shocked, battering you with questions that should have been comforting, only to be so numb and hardened that the only thing you can muster is a very formal āit is good to see you again, Duncan.ā
Then, meeting Alistair, watching the conversation with a mage and apparently something to do with these odd human religions and traditions with the most resting bitch face imaginable. As is your habit. Youāve grown accustomed to never showing emotion. Dwarves are accustomed to battle and honor and tradition, not emotion. And Alistair, thinking youāre offended or something and you simply replying with āYou must be Alistair.ā You didnāt mean to sound so scary, wow.
Then Duncan, briefing you on your joining tasks, and you, switching automatically into army general mode, asking the strategies and alternative solutions should problems arise. Duncan finds himself smiling internally. Your level head will surely balance Alistairās emotional panic in the future.
On to Morrigan. These humans never cease to amaze you. She has nearly no clothing on. How can she survive a battle? None of this shows on your face of course. The never changing diplomatic hardened expression masks your internalized thoughts. It is at times a blessing, not allowing others to see your confusion and fear and curiousity as you learn this new world.
Battle at first is a bit distracting. Youāre caught off guard by the fear and disgust the other recruits show. Itās as if theyāve never seen darkspawn...but wait. They havenāt. And youāre reminded again of your people (of whom will never speak of you again) who have faced these monsters for centuries. You find yourself wondering if these humans had experienced the hug of their mother. Harmless games with their fathers. Bonding with their siblings. You consider your own personal family life. You suppose in your own dwarven ways, your family had been very close. But you know if you were to ever try to explain that to these humans, that your version of bonding with your brothers had been training so harshly and brutally that you had sometimes had to spend days in the medicinal wing, they would think you a monster or a war machine. Perhaps...perhaps thatās what you are.
Then waking up in the hut. A pounding headache and intense body pain. You shift into automatic response. Is my duty completed? Are my men safe? What must be done to finish the assigned task. You walk outside to find Alistair. Who expresses some strange sort of gratitude, for what you donāt understand. You consider that humans take death very personally. Death is not something humans are ready and willing to face at any moment. How strange. You think your face must display some sort of confusion, because you swear you see Alistair give a small sad smile. Almost like heās pitying you. The very look of it makes your stomach turn. Pity is for the weak.
Then thereās Leliana. The most odd creature youāve found yourself encountering in this new strange land where the sky seems like it can swallow you. She speaks of some man in the sky. You presume a human. She has tried to explain it to you, but it makes no sense. Your body will one day return to the stone from which it came...but then you think further. Perhaps you wonāt be returned to the stone. Youāve been exiled. There is no longer somewhere for you to go after you die. For the first time in your life, dying in battle doesnāt seem like a desirable choice.
Sten, oh Sten. Sten quickly becomes one of your most trusted companions. You and him understand each other. Sten is not blinded by emotion and vengeance. Sten exists. And you can appreciate that. Sten has a purpose. Long ago, you were a lot like Sten. Now, you have no idea of your purpose. This world confuses you. You take each day as it comes. Something youāre not used to and find quite annoying. You do not know what to expect. The one thing you can appreciate though, is duty. Duty you took upon yourself. You pride yourself in it really. For the first time, you are doing something that you chose to do. Something not assigned to you. Something you control. It is comforting, and when you look at the sky and grip your toes into the ground so it doesnāt swallow you, you think of this one piece of your culture that will always stay with you: your duty. Sten helps you realize this. And with Sten, you find yourself talking strategy. In some ways, Sten reminds you of Trian. In other ways, Gorim. You cherish Sten. He is a rock in this strange floating bright world.
Then comes Zevran. One of the first elves youāve ever spoken to in depth actually. Among the first youāve ever encountered. You find yourself considering him almost to be charming? The word sounds foul to you. Heās a piss poor rogue. Of this you know. At first you find him rather annoying? Almost angering? A piss poor rogue and an even poorer assassin, he turns his back on his duty immediately. You find his desire to avoid death deplorable. But for some reason, the idea of killing him (for the first time in your life mind you) strikes you as being morally wrong. Why? You werenāt sure. Perhaps it was your vacancy for tendencies of vengeance. You did not even seek to kill Bhelen after all. Bhelen had simply done what any dwarf wouldāve, had they been smart enough. Bhelenās act did not provoke hard feelings. You still loved him even. Your little brother had grown into an outstanding noble and you could not deny that. He had simply beaten you at a game. Once again, if you expressed this opinion to your human companions after they learned your story, they considered you to be insane. Apparently, vengeance is a common thing amongst humans. Humans, you feel, are incapable of accepting that which they do not enjoy. You find this odd. Relating back to Zevran, Zevran is not human. And though he acts nothing like the odd elves from the trees (the first trees youād ever seen by the way), Zevran is refreshingly morally corrupt. The more you get to know him, the more he reminds you of your people. And this is comforting. He tells you of Antiva. Perhaps you even ask him if he will someday take you there. Maybe there would feel like home. It certainly sounds like the politics are the same. Zevranās moral instability and cowardice are exactly what makes him so comforting. He makes you feel at home.
Sorry, I suppose those are just some ramblings/drabbles that go through my head when I play as a dwarf. Let me know if youād like me to write any other background stories. Iāve played them all. The way my brain can spin their personalities and character development affects the way I build each character. Iād love to share more if anyone liked this!
PS: I have played all 3 games. The only backstory I havenāt played so far is the Qunari and it will have to wait because I just upgraded from 360 to One and now I have to buy another inquisition.
