Dragons in Wano
Dragons are creatures heavily tied into Wano’s past and present.
When we were first introduced to Ryuma back in Thriller Bark, he was hailed as the legendary dragon slayer who originated from Wano. Was this an actual dragon, or was it someone who possessed a Zoan-type devil fruit?
Currently, Kaido rules over Wano and can transform into a dragon. Even Orochi can transform into an 8-headed serpent/dragon.
Momonosuke, who wants to become the shogun of Wano, can also transform into a dragon, due to eating the artificial devil fruit Dr. Vegapunk created. He also created the two dragons that were left behind on Punk Hazard. All of these experiments were considered failures- I wonder what Dr. Vegapunk is trying to achieve?
We also know that Orochi demanded Dr. Vegapunk to be brought to Wano. If he does come, the marines will undoubtedly accompany him as well.
What other character has a connection to dragons?
Monkey D. Dragon. I wonder if he has some history with Wano. Someone mentioned that the tattoos on his face are kind of reminiscent of the patterns on the sleeves of Ryuma’s kimono. I wonder if Dragon will show up in Wano at some point too?
Quick theory putting out there.
In punk hazard law removed the effects of the addictive toxin candies from the children right? Couldn't he technically do the same to the people who failed smile fruit experiments and effectively bring back their ability to express their lost emotions? I don't know how this works but since it's man made it maybe could be done by law or if we ever get around to someone genius like Dr. Vegapunk maybe he could try it?
