"WITHOUT ISSUE" is bugging me again.
There's so many definitions for the word "issue", and The Voice seems so much more surprised that we failed to achieve "MARKS" than if we achieve some.
Issue could mean: a problem, sure, that's the first reading most people do. It could mean: progeny, which is my first and only reading of the word (see more below). It could mean: a whole release, like the next issue of a comic. It could mean: egress and ingress. It could mean: more things than just those but i wanna move on.
The fact that it's the egg that prevents this mark from being attained made me think "oh, well if it's an egg then it must be the progeny of something". Since that moment, I've been holding on to that definition and framework... At least until the whole "protein" thing.
WELL, it's all fine anyway because I've been going down my own insane rabbit hole about "the days of black-and-white" and "black-and-white hard-boiled egg[s]" and i think that the Forgotten Man is the ISSUE, actually. Specifically the progeny of something monarchical, since "issue" was often used for VIPs. I think the Forgotten Man was the third hero of the prophecy of the days of black-and-white. Or, well, i think that COULD be interesting. But it'd be one of those side revelations. I honestly think that, in the end, it's entirely unimportant who the real three heroes were.
