Leia Valenti is the only human that Danny knows to have ever been imprisoned in Ghost jail. Furthermore, when he pulls her out of the Ghost Zone and brings her to Amity Park, they discover something worse. To the world, Leia Valenti died tragically almost 2 decades ago when in reality, Leia suffered an accident in her parents' lab that threw her into the Ghost Zone. Still fourteen and without a family or a home, Danny and his friends offer her a place with them while they figure out what to do. Leia misses her home in the 80s, her family and her friends. The new century is too different from what she knows and now she's expected to live in a web of lies until she figures out how to make it. On top of that, she starts to notice a few ghostly bits she's picked up that she definitely didn't have before the accident. Being impervious to ghostly hypnotism, spontaneously being able to make others listen to her, and feeling a sting on the scar of her accident.

Not much after escaping from the Thermos that imprisoned him, he faces a situation that he can't solve on his own. Things soon are starting to get complicated as he, in the meantime, has to deal with something that he thought he had lost a long time ago.
