Perfect creature weekend? Woke up early to go to HIIT Pilates (hard, bad), got my iced coffee and tried a new pastry, went down to Lauren's community garden and hung out with her and the baby and then we all went and got lunch and I had a margarita, then citibiked home, took a three hour nap, and clean my shower while it rained outside. Tomorrow, an 8 mile run and acupuncture.

Hair HC
Ices hair is actually curly, a little like Bradley's. If he doesn't gel it to perfection (like the perfectionist he is) then his bangs curls in several different directions on his forehead. He gels them every day before work and after his showers so no one ever sees his naturals curls, even all the bleach in his frosted tips couldn't tame them, the slightest bit of humidity and they fluff up and flop around in his eyes. As soon as he takes his helmet off after a hop theyre fluffing up and he practically runs to the locker room to re-gel.
He much less strict about gelling his curls up at home, when he's relaxed and comfortable with nowhere to be, he just let's them do what they want to. He just couldn't be bothered with the effort is hes has nothing to do and nowhere to be.
Maverick on the other hand is very lax about his hair routine. Man uses 7-in-1 but somehow his hair is the softest thing ever. Like, he never uses products or bleach or dye, so his hair is so smooth and soft and fluffy. Like ice, he does use gel occasionally, but most of the time his hair is withing regs (somehow) naturally so he just rolls with it. Less work for him.
Goose loves ruffling or playing with his hair, especially when its just short enough to be within regs and longer than usual. Its so soft and silky and anytime someone runs their fingers through it, lightly scratching his head, Maverick just melts into a puddle of cuddly, content and sleepy tiny aviator. It's definitely one way to get him to calm quickly! The other flyboys catch in fairly quickly, Goose letting them in on the secret when Mav is comfortable enough to relax around them.

Twilight had been giving the chair a good breaking-in while reading a bedtime story to their newest clutch of little larvae, herself battling the tempting pull of sleep after a long day of courting their visiting potential allies. After discovering the lever on the side, it appeared that the battle was lost. She sighed. The chittering purrs of their tiny offspring, curled and tucked into her wife's body was just too perfect to disturb. The drool trailing from Twilight's sagging jaw was just a bonus. "And thus, the great nation of New Equestria is defeated, not by blade or bow, but by Bark-a-lounger...." Chrysalis chuckled. Scooping up a blanket in her magic, she gently draped it across her wife's snoring body. She gave a kiss to the lavender mare's horn and a gentle nuzzle to her cheek. "Rest well, little lilac." she purred. Humming a quiet tune, she left the serenity of the moment and sauntered back to their bedroom.
