susan ashworth; the magician - she was difficult to place, because i had multiple cards in mind for her including death, the hermit and judgement. in the end i went with magician because i couldn't let go of that infinity symbol. upright, the magician suggests the obtaining of a new power and abilities. a change in life, a strengthening of willpower. it signifies a turning point with a possibility to achieve something that you may have previously considered completely unachievable.

joe (and ivy) davis; the lovers - i think it was a pretty sure bet that i'd pick this card for them, as it works so well. upright, the lovers signify a strong relationship and the choices that come with it. it represents sacrifices that must be made and commitment. on the reverse it is what you would think - turmoil within a relationship, the possibility of losing it and infidelity. this is why i used both upright and reverse for them - as both make sense for their former life and then the present.
