Haruhi shouldn’t have expected anything different with the changes that came with the knowledge of their fating. Nothing had felt different the days leading up to the host clubs opening, the only differences being that she would hold his hand as much as she could when they were out, and one of them would give the other a slight peck on the cheek before they parted ways for the day. So once they started working, she expected it all to be the same as when they were in the host club back in Ouran, but she couldn’t help but feel like she was being watched more so than usual.
After saying good bye to one of her new regulars, she had turned and caught Tamaki watching them from the couch. It reminded her almost of the first time she had started hosting, but it felt a little different. She wasn’t sure if he was just being worried like he usually was, or if perhaps he was a tad bit jealous.
She waited until his guest had left before she made her way over to his couch, leaning onto the back rest as she spoke.
“Senpai, you know you should be paying more attention to your guests right? If you keep trying to watch over me you’re going to make our guests upset.”
