Or is it a finished series--and if so, how many chapters of it are there, and how long are they generally? Pop me those details--and we can work out something. ^_^

hello! i have some questions for you if you have the interest of answering :) first of all i want to thank you so much for translating hny. i dont live in the us so i dont have any access to buy the manga and the only way for me to read it is through the internet and youre the only one that has translated 20 chapters so far! would you know how many chapters are there in total in the manga? do you speak japanese? where do you get the raws from? sorry for all the questions lol and ty ♥
outoftomorrow: Sure I'll answer what I can~ You're welcome for the translations. I do what I can. As long as VIZ isn't even more of a douchebag then it's been already. Heh. Anyway, HNY is ongoing--and at present, there are 21 chapters as of either today-or tomorrow. So, there's no end total for chapter count at the moment, since the manga is not done. I am not totally fluent in Japanese--but I know enough to be able to translate a bunch of the bubbles in manga. For what I still don't know off the top of my head--I use a Kanji to English dictionary that I own. The raws come from helpful people on tumblr that can get access to them and send me the links to their drop boxes, such as @anime-fanatic-girl, and @meidozangetsuha, @senpujin, @rumic-world, and a couple others here and there. Speaking of~ IF ANYONE HAS CHAPTER 21 RAWS POP THEM OVER, THANK YOU! =) I hope that answers your questions thus far. lol.
Why do you keep translating the manga if you hate it and the characters so much?
Outoftomorrow: You're gonna have to be a little more specific there-I translate a couple manga. HNY and Mao. Though I assume you mean HNY? And if that's the case I do it because: A) I started doing it-might as well finish doing it. B) I do it for other people. Because it's a nice thing I can do for them. C) No one else seems to be doing it (except for VIZ which brings me to:) D) Some people can't afford their app. Even at only $2/month, E) For some people the app is region locked, so they can't see it even if they can afford it. (both of these reasons go back to reason B) and F) I'm doing it now to also spite VIZ. Jerks on their high horse that they are, refusing to even acknowledge the little guy when they ask them a pertinent question. Also G) I've said this before--I don't like the way VIZ does its translations of pretty well anything they do. Even if I don't really like HNY as a whole, I feel like I can generally tend to get it more right than they would. Also--on a side note--I don't hate the characters in it. I dislike a few. And I do like Moroha, and Setsuna and I don't really have any complaints about Rion~ Towa I could probably do without but what can you do? So, yeah, that's why. :)
