Visual Diary 4: A “Tactile” Find
Wearable technology continues to hit the market from Fitbits to Apple watches. Timepieces can be dated back to the 13th century with the first mechanical clock to present-day smart watches where people can tell time, read text messages, and determine who is calling before answering a call. In recent years, the smart watch technology moved a step towards design intervention with the Dot Watch “reinventing tactile communication” for people who are blind and visually impaired.

Therefore, the Dot Watch’s empathic design, also, tailored “a space for intercommunication” where users can manage calls and read messages with the intuitive touch controls.
