Sagamore Dorm Headcanons: 

- There is a curfew for the students and a few guards walk around the campus at night to keep an eye out for any wanderers. Secretly, the students all sneak out of their windows and have this hidden tunnel that leads throughout the school, as well as an exit for leaving the grounds.

- For many Isle kids, getting their own Dorms was the first time that they had lived away from their parents.

- While its not openly said, there are rumours that the more royal (and richer) students get to choose who they dorm with and where their room is, which isn’t allowed for the other students.

- It’s against the rules for students to stay the night in a dorm without actually living there, but Harry is very known to break that rule quite often.

- Dorms are one of the go to places where teens secretly practice and use magic.

- Many Auradon students who bribed the school officials to get their own rooms, were forced to share a room with the Isle kids after became evident that there weren’t enough rooms to supply everyone if they hadn’t. (A bit of drama.)

- Parties are also against the rules, but the teens always try to get away with throwing them anyways. (Even it doesn’t always work out.)

Pommeneige Dorm Headcanons:

The dorm is designed to look like a humble cottage. Of course it's large to accommodate many students but everything looks so comfy and relaxing with all the brown wood and white stone walls of the building.

The dorm has little dwarves that take care of the dormitory maintenance. They will find lost objects and keep things neat and tidy for the students. And the students repay them by placing sweets, bread or even small clothes for them in the charity basket in the lobby.

The dorm has a large oak with a small door where some of the students practice singing. That oak is believed to be the main home of the little dwarves and they enjoy the sweet serenade of the students.

While the dwarves are benevolent, they will use pranks and tricks to teach students a lesson should they be too dependent on them or do something unpleasant.

So there are rules that they follow to keep them happy while also building their independence.

Students have seen the dwarves on ocassionally but because they run around the dorms through small mouse holes and passageways you don't see them often.

The only one who sees them a lot is the dorm prefect as they consider the one in charge of the dorm as the one who holds responsibility.
