Reed spent his Saturday teaching Coda to talk.

Notes, Day 86, Part 1
Melody: Part of me wishes I wasn't going to uni quite yet - I don't want to miss Coco being little!
Luisa: I'll trade, if you like. I'm going to miss Shawn so much!
Cliff: Why are we doing homework in the middle of Jazz and Melody's party?
Dorian: Because I've got the wanting to do it now feeling and if I don't do it now that will go away and then I won't want to do it another time!
Cadee: Come on, Love, shake my paw... I mean hand!
Dorian: When I grow up, can I be a cooker?
Jazz: Missed!
Neo: Did not! I can see snow on your coat!
Jazz managed to get his car fixed up and sold tonight, which is a nice boost for his college fund.
Melody spent ages doing her homework, and then I realised she's not going to school again, so her grades won't go up. It's not even like I could send her to school and then send her to college at the end of the day because it's Saturday.
Reed: Can't you two go to your room?
Time for Jazz and Melody's off-to-college party!
Notes, Day 85, Part 3
Melody rolled a want to go to college, which meant she tried to get caught up on her homework. Her grade are a C right now, which is enough to get into college, but I always treat a college want as a want to get into college with the best possible grades.
Gavi and Gryff seem to be getting around without each other a little bit more this rotation. Reed and Gryff are about the same age - let's see if they can make friends.
Cadee: Daddy! Daddy! Look, this is my writing that everyone else took home last semester but mine was on the wall but now they're changing the display so I get to bring it home now!
Cliff: Wow, that looks amazing. Can I have a proper read later?
Cadee: Yep. I can read it to you if you like?
Jazz: These are perhas a little scorched, but...
Aster: Extra seasoning, my mum says.
Reed: I don't think me taking up the violin would be a good idea. Where would I keep it so it doesn't get destroyed by the little ones?
Today was Jazz and Melody's last day at school; tomorrow it will be party time again as they head off to college! I guess I should also check if Cliff and Maddy are working over the weekend, and if so whether we'll trust thirteen-year-old Reed at home with the little ones.
Notes, Day 85, Part 2
Cadee: Good morning, Love! Who's a cute kitty? You are!
Melody: Now Coco can walk, she'll be in to everything.
Maddy: Yes, Coda will, won't you, Coda?
Cliff: Right, just you and me today, Coda. What shall we do?
Coda: Ababba-go!
Cliff: I see. An excellent choice.
Cliff had big plans for his day off - practising the piano and maybe inviting someone over (maybe Hugh if he wasn't working). What he ended up doing was tidying up the breakfast things and bathing Coda, and then it was nearly time for the teens to come home.

Reef: Those two can't play quietly, can they?
Cliff: Nope. Neither could you at their age.

Melody: Eh, close enough for a start.
Everyone at the Notes house was pretty tired after the spate of birthday parties they've had recently, but Melody and Reed both had pretty full energy bars, so they went to the Leisure Centre for a while to get them tired enough to sleep.

Dorian: Daddy! It's my birthday and there's cake!
Love the cat is long-suffering. There have been a lot of toddlers in this house.

Maddy threw Dorian's party, inviting assorted family and friends and then teleporting in close-age children. We now have a whole day without any parties, but then after that Jazz and Melody will be heading off to college!

Melody: Good morning, Coco! Let's get you on this potty, eh?
Dorian: Jazz, it my birthday? I four?
Jazz: You sure are! We'll have a party later, just for you!
Melody: It's a snow day, Coco! That means we can all stay home all day and play with you!
Cadence: Daddy, how do you spell 'house'? Is it o-w or o-u?

The night after Coda's birthday, everyone was pretty tired, except the birthday girl herself. Maddy stayed up with her for a while, since she can sleep late in the morning whilst Cliff goes to work.
