I see you add Tails into a lot of your Dopple art, care to explain a bit more about their relationship?
Doppel / Dopple after he had taken over Sonic’s body, using it as his vessel. He wanted to ‘befriend’ his friends and pretend to be sonic so he could sadistically relish in their suffering and see the trust drain from their eyes and realisation that it wasn’t sonic. He gave himself a month or so to do this, But, Something he didn’t account for is that he had feelings other than chaotic energy.
Through the month, the way tails treated him and just the general care and brotherly love he felt through the month, he couldn’t actually bring himself to start his initial plan. Yet had a fierce want to protect him, to keep him from any harm or threat, So as a product of that he continues to pretend to be Sonic far longer than planned and also, Kills Eggman.
Eggman was a threat, while he is usually seen as a thing that can be fairly easily defeated and defended against but Dopple/Doppel saw he could learn over time, find a way to defeat them, overpower them. Kill his friends one by one to weaken him and the others. He didn’t want that, So the easy solution simply was to crack a few eggs. Dopple/Doppel sentience wise is, infant like, He still has a lot to learn, he is still unaware of his feelings or morals around him so far, and power wise? Can get much. Much stronger
Tails, so far is just rubbing off the small unnerving changes, the strange things he does, he otherwise acts like sonic, But there will be a point where Tails just can’t rub this off anymore and he will take a stance about what Dopple is and what dopple is doing
