The tossing and turning was well worth what Jeremy woke up to the next morning. Madison still draped herself across him. Legs interlocking and a bit of drool in the corner of her mouth. Wiping the sleep from his eyes the little Gilbert couldn’t seem to break his focus from the way Madison slept so soundly. She looked so peaceful. It was like the whole world fell away and all that rage he could sense in her the night prior was just one of the many thoughts being sorted through that pretty head of hers during sleep. Placing a small kiss on her lips Jeremy cringed at the thought of waking her up so he made sure to be extra delicate when trying to untangle them. Still somehow Madison’s eyes fluttered open “Uh— hey,” clearing his throat “I’m glad you decided to stay,” raising a brow Jeremy ran his tongue over his top teeth “I definitely didn’t see you as the type.” Teasingly he ran his hand over her cheek and gave a light laugh “It was the promise for food wasn’t it? You just want to tell me I cook like shit.” The former urge to bite out her throat no longer possessed him. “You feeling better today or still a little wolfy?”
