I don't think we as a society talk enough about Doof 2, especially the implications behind his character.
Like on one hand, he is still Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz no matter how you frame it. Yes he's a much darker villain and character, but ultimately this is still Dr. Heinz Fcking Doofenshmirtz. But on the other hand... this is funnily enough Doofenshmirtz without the tragic backstories. This is a Doof who never went through the hardships that his main counterpart went through, and a more stable life. Yet despite having it good, he ended up becoming a much darker and more successful villain than our Doof... just because he lost his toy train as a kid.
As I said, I don't think we talk enough about implications behind Doof 2.
