With the wings of a falcon, the face of a human, and a tail built for the ocean, it belonged to neither air, sea, nor land. It was a breathing anomaly. The last Avilusine, in its final moments, begs the ruins of angels not to let the world forget them, that their mistaken creation, joy, and suffering will be remembered even as they fade into the shadow of falling snow.

On December 27 2024, I challenged myself to finish a whole animatic in under 24 hours bc kept on spending weeks on resulting 14 second animations. I binge made this in 11 hours straight. It’s still one of my personal favorites tho

Ok so this animatic actually takes place in an au i made during and after wild life and imma rant bout it real quick-

Basically, after the end of wild life, instead of returning to hermitcraft grian gets stuck in secret life where secret life Scar has been alone for who know how long. And bc Scar has been alone with the shadow people and watchers for so long he’s kinda pieced together what happend in third life, even if he only has vague memories of it. He was lonely af during secret life as a villain but hearing about how he had Grian to be a villain duo with in the past, the second he finds Grian he latches on and refuses to let go. While Grian searches desperately everyday to leave and get back to hermitcraft.
Eventually both of them find a way to leave (probably by breaking the border of the map), and they end up in limited life, where non-other than Martyn has also been living on his lonesome for god knows how long. (Yea there’s a pattern to this). Martyn having been completely driven mad about time and by the watchers thinks he rules the land as an immortal being (watcher or listener u pick), and basically try to hunt them down.
Then they go past more life serise each time collecting a winner who was left behind in their own worlds. Pearl grown into some cryptic being bc she is kinda half alive with only half a soul, trusting only her dogs. Scott the most reasonable winner yet still desperate to leave. And at somepoints between life hopping, they end up in the april fools lifes, the VR one, Cleo’s domain is trippy as fuckkkkkkkk, and conveniently everyone is hallucinating, everyone also thinks their limbs are falling off at all times bc VR world is disorienting as shit. This is where this brief little interaction happens, Grian sees zombie mumbo again and knows this time that he is hostile and that he’s not his mumbo. His mumbo is on hermitcraft and he will get back to Hermitcraft god damnit. Yet he cant help but play along when mumbo starts acting more forward than he ever did, just like grian has always wanted, but eventually he has to pull out the dagger and threaten him into telling grian where Cleo is.
I didn’t anticipate Joel winning wild life but since he did ig the story ends with him crashing his car through all the borders of all the maps, collecting all the winners (as well as grian who in his darkest hour gave up and just collapsed in third life where he was left completely alone) and bringing them home where he also becomes a permanent member on hermitcraft hooray.
(Btw this whole trapping grian in secret life thing, was the watcher punishment to grian for interfering so much with their plans and abusing his watcher powers to bring mumbo back (first through the zombies, then again in the finale), and he probably also made a bunch of edits during the making of wild life just to make it more fun and less torture torture for his freinds.
Fun fact: i drew that wyfilwma sketch at the bottom two days before the Ithaca saga came out. I didn’t even know if Jorge was keeping that song as the finale and we basically only had this one line and a TikTok that i went batshit for for months.
Old au where Joey drew got the machine to work through a deal with the Devil. Alison Pendle was sent by the heavens to watch the machine and aided Thomas Conner in its many alterations. The Devil himself was not as conflicting with the heavens as you would expect. The whole astral plane watched the events in the studio but of course the devil has his own motives and methods. But yeah, in the end it was mostly all Joeys fault.

OKOK LISTEN. This fandom has made so many beutiful perfect fan kid designs that fuse aspects of cups and bends so well IDK HOW YALL DID IT. I THOUGHT THEY COULD HAVE LIKE A RETRO KETTLE POT WITH A BROKEN HNDLE SO IT KINDA LOOKS LIKE HORNS??? BC THE HORNS ARE SO IMPORTANT FOR THE ~ IMPLICATIONS ~ BUT THE DISH WARE THAT CAN HOLD LIQUID IS ALSO SO IMPORTANT FOR THE ~ IMPLIACTIONS ~. Idk in the end I just decided to work around and not include them. (Fun fact u can see them adopting this weird thing in one of the pictures)
