OOf i am like the worst person to ask this question to. Cus i normally start by shrinking the canvas size to about 1400x2000px (300 layers available). Then I make the canvas larger as I doodle more. So like they end up being all diff sizes

And I’m Ngl I wouldn’t consider myself a multishipper. I don’t dislike any ship in this fandom, but I DEFINETLY have my favorites.

I think the Blueink dynamic is SUPER intresting, esp in motm cus of that tensiooonnnn, mugmans whole one-sided hate is super gripping and fun and exploring how him getting to know bendy can cause those internal biases to break down or get proven right is so compelllinggggggg. And Bendys self-preservation clashing against mugmans survival but keep your morals code mentality? AUGH soo much to tap into there.

It brings up so many scenarios and ideas like, when it comes down to it and they argue/fight, bendy is completely overpowered but he could totally point out all of mugsys hypocrisies and shatter that world view, their ARGUMENTS would be sOOOo deliriously painful and FUN. But then there are the quiet moments whith their personalities merging in a convo or a dance could make them forget about who the rest of the world makes the other to be, and just enjoy each others company, because personality alone their dynamic is completely compatible for comedy and comfort. I also think it’s really fun when they surprise each other, like when mugs acts more stupid and crazy and competently bazerk than Bendy’d think he’d be, or if bendy acts gentler or more earnestly hopeful then mugs would have thought he’d be. These two are just a really fun character exploration exercises and they’d totally have the best duets.

For non-myth blueink to, mugman in my opinion would almost always have a ‘🫵 DEMON’ first impression cus of his usual history with the devil. But everytime it is so intresting to see how that view changes or stays the same. Hatred can turn into sympathy but then again sympathy can also turn into hatred. They’re both stubborn af anyways but i think there’d have fun making art together.

1. I was rewatching it on the plane. I usually insert whatever my current hyperfixation into movies, it’s just easier for me to care about the movie more, and it’s just fun. And well, i was like damn Emily be the ultimate hopeless romantic girl failure…. SO IS MUGMAN! And the rest is history :}

2. (I just realised u didn’t specify his thoughts as first impressions but I responded like it was)

I like to headcanon Boris as a pan-disaster who is attracted to anyone who acknowledges him and is nice to him. So when he meets Shelly and like in the movie she walks in on him playing music, and genuinely liking it and interested in it he is a stuttering blubbering mess. He was already gonna be awkward with her bc of the whole arranged marriage thing, but upon first meet he is stealing himself to be more hopeful and optimistic about the union. If not for a true romance (like he’d always hoped for) than at least he could gain a close friend, right? And Shelly seems nice, he’s sure he can find companionship in her.

As for Mugman. Well. He was TERRIFIED. I mean could you blame him? A shattered grotesque-ass CORPSE just crawled outta the ground in a WEDDING SUIT saying they “I do”. Then chased him though the woods and stole him with a kiss into the UNDERWORLD! To say he was freaked out would be putting it lightly. But as soon as Mugmans whole situation was explained to Boris, the whole song and dance about how he was killed at his own alter, Boris couldn’t help but feel bad for him. This lead him to at least play along with the marriage although still trying to get back to the surface and Shelly. The wolf had his priorities. But of course he grew to care for Mugman, and well fall a bit for him too, so in the end ofc he choose to stay and care for Mugman as he believed he deserved and even wanted to atp. He was ready to give up his previous life for mugman, but well Mugman realised he didn’t want him to do that.

3. Making these up on the spot here bc I didn’t design them with their deaths in mind. So count my answers as one of those Tim Burton movie death theory’s.

Cuphead — while running from the consequences of his crimes fell down a cliff and into a river where he was shattered and bits and pieces of him blown away.

Chalice — died of spider bite (yea we’re following vivzie-verse logic with this one she gained spider legs from her spider death lol)

4. Nah, sry guys but I simply just don’t wanna make any full fledged comics or ask blogs atm. I like to jump around in the time line and make alternate paths to my au’s plots and in general a comics is just a big commitment Im not motivated to do. But I will continue to draw snippets from this au, which includes small interactions between characters etc.

It’s gonna be… very different from your story and how Bendy and Alice are set up as Boris’ parents. The addictive draw of Bendystraw made me bend over backwards to try and figure out how that would work. Basically the scene of the grandmother recognizing her dead husband inspired me lol. Also I thought it’d be funny if Stickler was the one who forced the marriage due to some contract with the devil. Idk tell me if I’m overstepping I’m new to this I’m sorry. 😭

On instinct how i see bendystraw happening is that they somehow had like a 2-day romance (Romeo and Juliet style, they didn’t even have the time to properly have a relationship), before the universe said nah and nuked cuphead. Leaving a depressed Bendy force married to Alice. That is until the corpse that now is cuphead coming back for his beloved…

Sry but nah, I dont plan on making anything BIG with this au. BUT I will continue drawing snippets from this world and continue making ideas for it. You can already find art of it on my blog under the tag #the little devils reprise au
