Okay so I've decided to start making a video about Clara and the Doctor's relationship this season. I have the song and an idea of the scenes I want to use for most of it. But I need a scene to start the video with. I need something that is either very reflective of their relationship or a here we go kinda scene. Or ideally a scene that's both. Any ideas?

Thank you! It's this oddest thing, because I just love to talk about Clara's flaws so much. My current idea of a defense is "oh, but look at all those things she did, all this questionable behaviour, don't you just love this mistake right here". I mean, I feel like I'm being positive. It's nice to know that apparently other people - including you - think so too :).

Please don't ever leave :( although also I really hope tumblr does something or at the very least sincerely apologises, or another fantastic blogging platform pops up... But don't leave I would miss you :(
You're like half the reason I won't leave, to be honest. You and the meta community. That still persists, even if graphics are shot to hell. I know I'm probably not leaving, it's empty threats, it's the only way I can think of saying "I'm not sure I can do this, I'm not sure I'm coping". I guess I just imagined tumblr in uproar, a bit of solidarity, and what I saw was "lol, graphic makers overreacting, it's just change, get a life or something". And that hurt a lot.
I stick around at least till after the Christmas Special. And I'll make gifs for MAD, in the old dimensions, whatever happens.

My hometown...not really, no. There's bad memories attached, but also, it's riddled with commuters rushing everywhere, everyone's always stressed and there's a certain arrogance about the place.
I think they were trying to send one good message (you can't just expect meds to fix everything sometimes you just need to listen) but in doing that clumsily invalidated her trauma. I do think linking it back to the concrete cause of losing her sister helped a little, same with Maebh's line about "Annabel come home", but the balance wasn't quite right.
Yeah I think it was just clumsily done. The idea that medicating her without doing anything else to help her is something that is distressingly common and deserves to be talked about. I liked her story with losing her sister, I just think that the way the writer tied it into the rest of the story made her trauma a cheap plot device.
