Performing and Disability
As a performer my disability is no longer to much a part of me in the world of free imagination and play. the world of autism gets hidden i am 20 years old and  i never thought that i could be where i am now not a day goes by where i don't struggle with emotions or understanding or just general communication with people after 20 years of life who would think i still can't spark a convosation. Though as a performer you are free from that you can express the word you cannot say to people i mean if anyone in university saw this i mean i wouldn't want them to know not that I'm ashamed of my autism but that i don't think it hinders me in anyway shape or form and i wouldn't want people to treat me any differently. Within this magical world where in one scene your a school girl fighting for the school to stay open the next your a sailor driving into the world of the unknown. The endless possibilities never stop i don't think i would have come this far without my struggles in the past but the one thing that has kept me going is performance and i will never give up on that the dream that can never be taken away from me Â

I cant change the world but maybe a word. I shouldn't have to be defined by a word, a few letters in place. but things never change and I’m tired of hearing the same words the same way. If i could change your view, maybe then i wouldn't stew, every day, every way. all you see is a shell, my hair, my clothes, my body. You've never met the real me, yet still all you see, is this word, this hate. Cant you see?...I’m not just 2-D...I’m as many as three, maybe more! but you don’t care, all you see is this word. This tiny little thing, just a few letters that’s all you need, before you feel you know all there is about me. I cant change the world, but maybe a word?
