scar. it’s scar. he is the only one who sleep talks methinks. it’s super rare and he used to SWEAR he doesn’t—his dolly lolly must be imagining things! but she is not. dolly has heard him say the strangest things before. sometimes he just yells in his sleep, he doesn’t even talk.

🩰 Slow dancing in the kitchen at 3 a.m. - who starts it?

hrmmm scar. i think it is scar. he is the only one who’s up that late and also the only one who will yank his girlfriend into doing it. i specifically imagine early season ten scolly when they’re in the midst of wedding planning. dolly briefly asks if their first dance would look like this, and scar says mmmm well, it’d probably need to be a lot funner than this wouldn’t it, cupcake? which is how they started looking into better wedding dances :)

😤 Who apologizes first after a fight, even if they weren’t wrong?

okay SPEED ROUND:

scolly: scar does, and he does it with big wet eyes

dollvex: cub, but that’s usually because he will be the one to mediate the fight immediately after

dolldust: dolly because i genuinely think the one time they fought, dolly apologized in under three minutes

puppetdoll: it’s a tie, they both always apologize at the same time

💥 What’s the biggest risk one of them took for the other that the partner didn’t find out about until much later?

okay this is actually hard…i can only think of that time when dolly willingly went into the town hall that was full of mycelium just because she remembered scar forgot something in there but i talk about that A LOT (because it’s my favorite thing ever). other than that i don’t know…it’ll probably come to me..

🍷 Who gets tipsy first & starts spilling embarrassing love confessions?

dolly…..she is a lightweight. embarrassingly so. and she’s an emotional/clumsy drunk so double whammy. i will give silly examples for each husband

scar, trying to be a good boyfriend and get his very drunk girlfriend home safe after a party, had attempted to scoop dolly up in his arms. in a panic, dolly immediately started WAILING “I HAVE A BOYFRIEND!! I’M TAKEN!! MY BOYFRIEND CAN SHOOT YOU” , alerting dozens of hermits while attempting to flail herself out of scar’s grip. scar had to get on his knees to stop himself from dropping her (and so he could cackle his ass off for a few minutes). when he could actually talk properly, he let his silly girl know that he WAS her boyfriend, to which dolly immediately started babbling very incoherent love confessions to him while he carried her home. scar is nice enough to let her remember it only once a month.

cub was beside dolly when she started to nervously glance at him every few seconds, and when he patiently asked if she was feeling alright, dolly started to nervously fiddle with her hands before asking if he was single. it was a clear sign to him that she was drunk—but to humor her, he went well yeah, he is single, why? is she gonna set him up with someone? dolly seemed to get even more anxious at this question, and cub would have been concerned, if she didn’t immediately say she was going to set him up with her. trying very hard not to laugh in her face, cub lets her know that yeah sure, he’d be down to date her (<- they had been dating for two years at that point + possibly engaged). unlike scar, cub will tease her about this at least once a week. meanie /silly

mumbo is vaguely startled when dolly practically trips into him during a party, and correctly assumes she’s tipsy. he gently tries to offer her a glass of water—perhaps even a cracker so she doesn’t just have alcohol in her stomach. instead of agreeing to the water, dolly glances up at him and starts clumsily mumbling that she loves him sooo much, and she’s just so happy he likes her, and that he’s so handsome and—oh wow mumbo’s dead /silly thankfully he has no problems trying to shove this memory back into the depths of his brain…another hermit will definitely tell her though

— i usually base dolly’s theme for seasons off of movies and stuff, and this time her base’s theme was inspired by kiki’s delivery service :)

— she had a witches broom that she could actually fly! it belonged to her mom and she was allowed to borrow it (after many hours of flying lessons)

— many hermits wanted to try the flying broom and nearly none of them got the hang of it i fear 💔 and while dolly knows how to fly it properly, she’s not an expert at it either

— as usual she had her wardrobe changed! i’m actually torn between having her wear sort of a little red riding hood get up or actual witch outfits. it’ll probably be both!!

— toffee got a little witch outfit too :)

— the moon crashing onto the server was scary for her but you guys already know that 💔 she’s fine though don’t worry

— she actually had a service where she would collect and drop of resources for other hermits. did you need gravel? sand? potions? redstone? or maybe just a packed lunch because you have no time to make or get it yourself? then for a low, low fee of (whatever price dolly eventually puts), dolly will bring those resources to you!

— she lived near boatem, but she wasn’t actually apart of it. she just saw their insanity first hand sometimes and she would accept that her neighbors were. very strange

— remember how zed used to experiment on hermits during season eight? he got to do that with dolly and i think it would be funny if that was the first time anyone found out about the music box in her stomach (and the way she was born in a sort of non traditional way)

— this was sort of the season where dolly started trusting/befriending more hermits! she genuinely got close with grian during season eight, and she stopped being scared of xisuma during this season too!! she was making good progress during that time :)

— this was the same season where her and scar started to drop hints to mumbo about their romantic interest in him and honestly. boatem was getting a front row seat to the entire thing and updating other hermits about it /j

❗ - What’s something your F/O has surprised you with?

to preface, this was before dolly and mumbo were together, but dolly was still surprised nonetheless! after the whole mycelium throne incident, dolly was pretty much bed ridden for a few weeks. this meant a lot of household chores went undone for a bit, and while hermits (read: scar because he would not let anyone else do them /j /j) did their best to help around the house, mambo was the one keeping her garden in check, and she didn’t know until way after she got better! she had already knew he was very apologetic about the entire thing, but she didn’t think he would go as far as to manage her garden! she was very touched, and she made sure to go and thank him when she was given the okay to go around the server :)

🐲 - What mythological creatures would you and your F/O be?

i know this is probably obvious due to her season nine base but dolly would be a fae/fairy! it just fits her! but if i had to chose another one i would probably choose a mermaid. and i actually had a hard time with mumbo and i know it’s a little obvious but. probably a vampire? i know a lot of people hc him as one already but hffjg i could not find another one for him i’m sorry 😞
