Random Ship Tournaments

Just a silly blog created to make separate tournaments about a niche topic, generally about a specific ship trope, genre, or company (I won't make tournaments about a specific fandom bc I'm not familiar with so many fandoms to do that).

Generally disallowed ships:

Minor/adult and child/adolescent with a significant age difference:

If both or one of them is a child, the age gap limit is 2 years (3 years or more isn't allowed).

If the youngest is 12-15, the age gap limit is 3 years (4 years or more isn't allowed).

If the youngest is 16-17, the age gap limit is 4 years (5 years or more isn't allowed).

Notable age gaps between adults are generally fine, but I may disapprove it if I consider the age gap too inappropriate (e.g. 18-20 x middle-aged or 20s x elderly) or it has a creepy background (e.g. one rised the other).

Incest ships, which means, biological or legal relatives. Two friends who are "like siblings" is not incest and not reason enough to prohibit it.

Humans with normal irrational animals. However, I don't mind if they're humans with intelligent, talking animals or animals that don't talk but are clearly intelligent (for example, Perryshmirtz); in fact, I even find them amusing (that's why the interspecies tournament exists).

Usagi x Minako (86): "The classic 'knight and her princess' kind of situation but with a 'your honor, they're lesbians' twist. Usagi is already canon bi, since she represents love and love is for everyone. Minako is Sailor Venus and Venus is the planet of love. In the last arc Minako is gushing about a normal life and dating boys after the fights are over to which one of their allies says that she already has someone in her heart more important than anyone else. Minako agrees, says she already promised her life to someone, thinking about Usagi."

EmmaMorgan (50): "Here we see the prodigy and the hard worker, the criminal and the detective, the jealous ex and the one who didn't know they were dating all boiled into one lesbian autistic pile. Add to that that one sees themselves as a hole, a monster without agency that can never be human, and the other who hunts and seeks that monster with obsessive passion that may be hate, may be fear, may be love, or may simply be her job. Or all of the above at once. And we have a ship that masterfully balances countless tropes and propels the entire narrative of fanfiction and the original work itself.

Also it's wrightworth but even messier, lesbian, and even more autistic, so it's better."

Emiliana convinces herself that she has to be Katrielle’s rival, due to the different ways they approach cases (Katrielle mostly goes on gut instincts while Emiliana prides herself on her profiling skills and data collecting); however Katrielle just seems to be going along with it. Throughout the game, Katrielle teases Emiliana, which flusters and confuses Emiliana. As the game goes on, Emiliana will eventually tease back. Also, in one of the game’s later episodes, Emiliana purposefully throws others off of Katrielle’s trail, giving Katrielle the chance to figure things out herself. Based on the profile Emiliana made for Katrielle, she knew where Katrielle would go, so she could have pointed everyone to her. She chose not to."

MorganReyes (33) "Cyberpunk cop who desperately wants to be a hero x retro defense attorney who refuses to view herself as a good person or even a person at all. Both of them would be really annoyed at the idea of being in a relationship. Also in chapter 2 Reyes gets drunk and shows up at Morgan's apartment to watch her tv"
