Dolcim- Guillotine Ride
Alright so for you skramz nerds there was once upon a time a band called Cease Upon the Capitol that used to be up there with recommendations of digging June Paik, Raein, and City of Caterpillar. They got pretty big but ended up breaking up around 2008. However a couple bands came from the ashes which was Sanctions and Dolcim. Dolcim out of Sanctions and Cease Upon the Capitol though is by far my favorite. This band plays very dark post hardcore/skramz that has a really interesting sound to it. Chugging along with grinding guitars, antiquated yelling, and echo's as far as the ear can hear in this album, Guillotine Ride has a very aggressive skramz take. I would definitely recommend this album if you dig aggressive post hardcore, drilling skramz music, and just straight shredding.
