I'd only had Nedge for a couple of months when this picture was taken, and little did I know at the time, it was the start of a long journey with my health, and also the start of me finding the love of riding and showjumping all over again... It often goes like that in life - you think things are hard, and you think nothing's going right... And then down the track you realise that it was THOSE times that made you. It was THOSE times that taught you to buck up and get on with things, and work to make them better... Then there are the times you go through things that made your hardships back in the day seem like a walk in the park! ...Things get better. It's important to let yourself feel your feelings - and even better to talk about them if you can.
