Poor Rocko! I hope he feels better soon. If he is suffering from an anxiety episode, have you tried maybe to exercise him or play more than usual? exercise helps release the adrenaline and cortisole that builds up when we are stressed. It also captures his focus on a fun activity and reduces the stress. Good luck❤️ this situation must be stressful for you too.. ❤️❤️
He’s
Unfortunately I can’t exercise him more than robust walks, he was paralyzed when I adopted him and I don’t know for how long but he is a bit rickety in the back legs...I totally agree with your recommendations though, they are spot on. Thank you😘
Dafuq Ota, I thought we're over with this dog thing?!
Hound Dog -update
My boy did *30 minutes* in his crate, alone, without having a total meltdown and flipping his lid. This is huge. I'm so proud.
My SIL brought home a 3-4 month old black lab today after meeting the dog for the first time today. She's only ever had cats. Her current cat was snarling and hissing at everyone last I saw it (at Christmas). She lives in an apartment with breed and size restrictions and is on the top floor iirc. She wants to set up play dates with my dog. Who has been attacked by other dogs (who were her size or larger and had a darker coloring and were a bully breed). My dog, who can be very reactive among other people and completely loses it around other dogs (especially larger dogs or darker colored dogs or bully breeds). My dog (Everest) has had playdates with a lab back when we lived in Texas, but it's been a while and she doesn't like being on a leash when meeting another dog. Apparently, the goal is so that we'll be able to bring our dog to her apartment and stay for longer during holidays and get togethers (we only live 20 min away but use Everest as an excuse to leave when we're too tired to deal with the fam anymore). My partner has the same level of trepidation.
