Wrong Yellow, but he’s one jeeeeeeaaaaalous motherfucker. I love the concept of Blue only being scary when he’s angry, or worried about Yellow. But this time I’m upping the scale by a lot. Plus, I should say, Beta Yellow is loyal. He’s also just one sleezy motherfuker who thinks he can bag any flower that looks like his Blue only to play them. He’s also still pathetic, only for his Blue.

Beta Blue and Yellow, or all the beta flowers really, would have an almost opposite personality. Kind of. Like, they are obviously still themselves, but they are like semi-toxic versions of themselves. Except for Green. They’re so chill.

Robine is my RSA OC. He's in Charblanche. He is based off the glass slipper and dress in Cinderella. He's a third year. Because he's in RSA, he does have beef with most NRC students. If I have time and energy, I'll post his relations explanation. I couldn't find this kind of chart with the RSA students, but I'll add their relations in that post too. Robe means dress in French. Since Cinderella has a lot of French influences, I thought the name Robine would be good. Glaser is a surname that is derived from the occupation of the glazier, or glass cutter. I've decided to make a brand new species: Crystal Sprites. Robine is a Crystal Sprite. His hair is more translucent and crystalline and his body is much more fragile than the average person's. He lives longer than most and can stay "dormant" for a long time to expand his lifespan further. Robine is a quiet and clumsy junior. He trips and gets lost very, very often. But he’s also very emotionally aware and can handle strong things with tact. He’s quiet, but he knows when and how to make an impact. Robine enjoys assisting others in situations, but he struggles with letting go of something. He’s known to keep his thoughts down in a journal to be more aware of what he’s feeling and what he needs to work on.

Robine has a strong distaste for suspicious, fake people, but out of politeness, he rarely says so. Robine also has a small internal dilemma about being burnt (because glass). He is working on his fear though because fire magic is practically everywhere.

Robine likes keeping his appearance up. Almost like Vil. But he’s more openly nice to people. He decorates himself with ribbons, hair ties, clips, flowers, sparkles, and feathers. His outfits never look gaudy or bad; they're subtle enough that it's eye catching, but not overwhelming. If given permission, he'll even decorate his friends.

Robine, with all his grace and seriousness, gets lost very often. He will almost always say with a smile that he's "just exploring an alternative path." Credits to @cannimi for some of these headcanons!

Upon activation, crystalline frost spreads from Robine's feet. Anyone who touches the frost gets encased. The victim doesn't get harmed, only put in a slumber to dream. The sight of the frost is beautiful, especially under light. Robine can also utilize the frost if it covers something that has a lot of history, including people. Robine can take a look at the significant moments that hold strong emotional ties that matches Robine's own emotional state of the time.

✨Special Feature✨: Robine can use his UM on any surface, including water. He can make the surface freeze over like ice by walking over it or waiting for the frost to spread to that area.

I should probably start by clarifying what I lovingly call “tinfoil hat theories” to explain why this one isn't fully tinfoil.

So the other trainspotting tinfoil hat theories are basically my interpretations that are strongly supported by the text, but it’s hard to say whether they represent the exclusive intended meaning or are just some of several possible meanings. According to the death of the author concept, it doesn't even matter, but I'm still curious about intentionality. And I can even allow that one might set out making a movie about growing older / not wanting to grow old and unconsciously add some heavy homoerotic encoding lol But I really struggle to find alternative interpretations for this one.

I have already written about Begbie and Viagra’s mechanism of action (long story short, it doesn’t work if you aren’t aroused, and Begbie only gets a boner after chasing Renton). Which leads us queers to the inevitable conclusion, of course: Begbie has it for our boy Renton. But if we squint really hard and put our heteronormative goggles on, we might come up with another meaning: Begbie gets off on violence, and the arousal isn’t because of Renton, but because of the anticipation of said violence. Seems plausible, no?

I was thinking so much about the music choices that I went and rewatched the interview Danny and some of the cast gave to the BUILD Series back in 2017. Here's what Danny said about the music: “You’re always looking for a heartbeat of the film, which is for me always music. It doesn’t have to be [the music that will end up in the film] but you’re listening to it when you are preparing, when you are working…” This does not sound like someone who randomly chooses music tracks.

More like someone who was like, OK, AND TO MAKE SURE WE GET THE BEGBIE-HAS-IT-FOR-RENTON POINT ACROSS, LET’S CHOOSE THE GAYEST SONG FOR THIS SCENE. I’m also really curious what else he was listening to while working on the movie, and how gay it was lol.

I mean, we all can probably agree that the Trainspotting movies’ soundtracks are awesome, but also, I think the second soundtrack is noticeably gayer than the first, and “Relax” is just but one example.

comfrey and her crew were capable of passing back and forth due to sheer effort and work put in by an entire crew and ship. she said that a person couldn't pass through the wrong side of the biangle, because a certain frequency was needed to counterbalance the buffeting heat and pressure that threatened to destroy their ship.
