It's a part of the Fluidflux Fragment Gender System. Its masculine counterpart is Faunflux, and its unaligned counterpart is Florflux, based on genderfaun and genderflor respectively.
The term was coined by Twitter user Strwbryfemme. The flag was created by the same user on the same day.

i wanted a label that fits my identity, so here it is !! its a mixture of faerflux ( im aware the name is offensive but, i havent seen an alternative ) and genderflux.
it means your gender changes intensities of how feminine you feel, sometimes going to the point of feeling fully female. it can become masculine but, never fully male.
