Irish reclaimation of "Genderfae"
I am technically " genderdoe " but here's the thing. I'm irish(wasian) AND otherkin so I can in fact use the term genderfae. I think being otherkin just makes me even more qualified. Its not like fairies are inherently bad supernatural creatures.
This isn't a means to flex or whatever, I think the fae are an integral part of my culture; its the fact that I want to reconnect with my irish roots as much as possible as a filipino person LOL. Filipinos have their own versions of fairies, I'd argue they're MORE violent 💀 But we also had polytheist goddesses like many other ethnicities.
LOOK. Halloween is literally my culture I think I can reclaim genderfae more than anyone y'know??
I personally don't mind the use of genderfairy?? But it like, implies all fairies are the same gender I see where that gets confusing LOL
But not all irish people are like that. I honestly don't think fairies are meant to be dangerous. They're like earthly extensions of guardian "angels". Or something.
They are simply spirits of nature that misunderstand humans to an incompetent degree. Also like, some myths like the "changeling" are pretty ableist 😒 So then I was like. Alright that's a flawed folk tale.
I've always believed/pretended I was a fairy so like it heavily is ingrained in my gender you see! Its my spiritual connection. Some people are afraid of spirituality because of the fear of manifestations and that's okay.
But me on the other hand, I channel it into a healthy means of escapism as someone who's felt this beautiful connection to Halloween abd never realized...it belonged to my people from the start. Y'know?

Those who are Genderfae may experiance any number of feminine and neutral genders. It is a part of the Genderfluid and Multigender umbrellas. Flag(s):
This is the Genderfae flag, made by Pride-Flags and superpopcorn101 in January 2017. The official color meanings are just to be fae like while not including blue to represent never being on the masculine spectrum of gender. In August 2021 someone in the comments, by the name of SEGASister suggested these meanings:
Nature and growth
Curiosity and playfulness
Androgyny and gender non-conformity
A unique relationship around gender and womanhood
Femininity and intuition
Love and beauty
Magic and spirit
Think i might be genderdoe?
