but here's the thing: that's not The Dodo dodo. It's a soulless redesign, and while I've grown to like the new one well enough, this one still sucks.

Because THIS is the character I know and love:

Look at that ugly CG abomination! Listen to that high squeaky voice! A relic of the early 2000's, the era of Weird Shitty Annoying CG Characters.

And that jingle! I love that stupid jingle! Like sure, this is exactly what the company wants me to do - I'm falling for advertising. But it's just such a good time you know.

Like, I just don't like the new design as much. Yeah, it's an actual dodo. But it's not THE Dodo. It's not the one I know.

It might be stupid that I regard a stupid advertising cartoon so fondly, but man, Dodo was the best.

I mean sure - it's a dodo. And of course that smooth, shiny douchebag from the early 2000's wouldn't cut it in a modern market.
