          “that says more about how you see my friends than it does me.”  it says friends are assumed.  curious.

Not just knowing a lot of people, but knowing a lot of people. Ana knew a whole lot, but she didn’t know much. In comparison, it could be said that she knew nothing at all, so maybe- just maybe ‘that’s cool’ was an understatement of sorts. 

      “I’ve known only a few heroes in my time here. My family comprise a majority of the number, and I can’t say they’re not experts at weathering it.” Forty-Plus years of hero-work? If they couldn’t ‘hang’, then it didn’t seem like there were any who could.

      “This begs a heck of a question, miss... just how do you know all those superheroes? Do you work with my parents often?” That- Well, that was the polite question needing begging. The other one, was an emphatic ‘Just who in the hell are you?’ She didn’t look like any Avengers Ana’d met.

    Oh~ Well, there was always the ‘Super Villain’ option... 

She’s heard plenty of tales of a big blue box that traversed around the cosmos, & of the pilot within that was both a rather mad being, but one so know for bringing aid into the universe as much as they could fear in it - but why was it in new york right now ? Certainly, it’s been years since the Chitauri attacked; everything has somewhat calmed down in this region of midgard.

Dark brows furrow in arising curiosity as she dares to take a step closer, head tilting to a side ever so sightly whilst hand arises & comes to rest against what appeared to be aging wood. It felt - familiar in energy, so much so that cerulean reveals itself within her gaze just for a brief moment, a desire to knock upon it until the door seems to swing inward, minuscule bit of shock on her features at the action.

“SO-- Let’s get this out in the open. You’re a time traveller. The tag on y’clothes give it away. Debenhams ain’t a thing in 1935.” 

Right? Probably right. It wasn’t like she was an expert on Debenhams. But she was an expert at spotting people who don’t belong -- considering, well, she didn’t belong either. A woman not wearing a dress at a New Years party? It was the most interesting thing that had happened since they got here.

The Master's eyes were curious as he watched her, if perhaps slightly hesitant for once in his life. Ruling planets was considerably easier than this - and much less risky. If this went wrong, he could lose his friend. Properly.

"I want to try something," he said, despite the nagging thoughts. He was the Master, damn it. Doubt was weakness.

“I don’t believe it!” Amy laughs. Lots of things about the Doctor seem incredible, of course. This new Doctor definitely counting among them. Honestly, she’s still trying to wrap her head around it all.
