The Letters to the Editor-typw section was just people writing in to complain, like literally they branded the letters to the editor to be this way
my favorite was someone who wrote in just to complain about SOMEONE ELSE'S complaint from a previous issue to be like "Im sorry you thought "no one would use this monk article" but I THOUGHT IT WAS USEFUL!!! Sorry not every article is tailor written for you" except way more polite and honestly i side with them. Anyway it gave me insight to a world before message boards

God also you know what's criminally underrated? true neutral. people will talk like it's indifference or isolationism, but think: neutral horizontally means that you'll use either law or chaos to achieve your goals; neutral vertically means that those goals are personal ones, not aligned with good or evil. so a true neutral character, rather than not giving a shit, will literally do anything for their purpose - align with good or evil forces, ally with lawful entities or those who subvert them, pick up and discard alignments at will as they wax or wane in use. I'm thinking edward elric. gertrude robinson. courier six. the Ents. it's utter, undiluted ruthlessness. it's whatever it takes.
