Idaho Solicitor General Michael Zarian said law enforcement won't necessarily need a warrant either.
It's warrantless, because, of course.
99.4 % European with a Dash of Sub-Saharan African
I am 99.4 % European in case anyone wanted to know. 36.1 % German and 24.4 % English with a few other things thrown in to balance me out. It is so easy to find out things these days – all you need to do is spit in a tube and send it off to be analyzed. I didn’t have any big surprises years ago when I got the results back from my 23 and Me test because I knew my family came from Germany and…
Why does YouTube think I want to see folks advocating for mandatory DNA testing of children?
I hate the idea of mandatory DNA testing of children primarily because it's anti-child, default fathers are used to ensure a child has 2 legal parents, this laws means a man is not legally responsible for a child who isn't genetically his, but does nothing to ensure the bio dad is also the legal dad, so a child is denied a father and we're back to single mothers being left on their own
But it's also anti-woman because it assumes women cannot be trusted, but there's no equivalent burden for men; no one asks for like, men having to share their location or being forbidden from having more than one phone, or stuff like that
Also, also there's the way people talk about it, as if being raised by someone who isn't your biological dad is some kind of terrible thing; which is pretty disrespectful for adopted families and step-families. I respect those who's only concern is genetic conditions and the like, but plenty of folks frame as dad non being the "real" dad
DNA testing has become an accessible and powerful tool for individuals seeking to unlock the mysteries held within their genetic code. Deoxy

So there are some people thinking DNA testing of children should be mandatory, or at least normalized
I do not think people understand what they're asking
The big one that people are not thinking about is the wellbeing of children. You know why many places automatically place the woman's husband as the father? Why getting a man on a birth certificate is relatively easy? Why in Islam men have to accept a child born in their bed as theirs? Because someone needs to be legally responsible for this child, and if no one steps up, we're gonna force the closest man to do it; suck? Yeah, but baby takes precedence, because it's a baby
The other one that is that do you really think it's healthy to assume everyone is cheating? Do you think it's okay going around accusing random people of cheating on their partners? Assuming cheating is the default? Because I've seen a lot of people who don't seem to understand asking for a DNA test means accusing someone of cheating
And the third one is that there's no equivalent test for men (speaking in cisnormative terms); men don't have to take mandatory STI tests, don't have to surrender their phones, or share their location 24/7. And this goes back to point 2, do you really think it's healthy to be surveilling your partner all the time to make sure they're not cheating?
