Dean has amicably broken off a long-term relationship with Lisa, bought his own house, and is living on his own for the first time in five years. He is financially stable and has built himself a good safety net, so there is no better time to explore new horizons and get to know the person Dean Winchester could be at his very best. His main goal is to find new hobbies, try new things, and be more open about who he is and what he likes, including about his sexuality. Although he has planned on enjoying single life for a while to fully heal from the breakup, a meeting with an attractive stranger could make him reconsider that plan.

Dean almost doesn’t look up at the sound of his name  because he’s focused on making his world-famous taco casserole and also Cas’s tone is kinda bitchy and he doesn’t wanna deal with that.

But then, like. It’ll be worse if he ignores the guy so he stops his shoulders and then turns to find Cas standing there looking more intimidating than any guy in linen pants and far-too-large sweater had any right to. “I just cleaned the burners.”

And Dean looks down and finds that, yeah, okay, he’s gotta more than a small amount of salsa and cheese spilled on the stove but, like. That was cooking. In the words of Colonel Mustard, any good chef will tell you that you gotta break a few eggs to make an omelet. “Don’t worry, babe, I’ll scrub it down after.”

“That’s not the point,” Cas says. “You could try not to make a mess.”

“I’m cooking! I can’t pay attention to things like that. It’s all about the vibe. The heart.”

“Are you cooking us cow heart?” Sam asks as he trails in behind them.

“Shut up, Sammy,” Dean replies, by reflex.

“Anyway, what does it matter, if I’m gonna clean it up after?”

“Why did it matter than I tracked mud in when you had just mopped the entrance floor?”

“That’s totally different!”

“How?”

“Just take your shoes off first!”

“Just watch what you’re doing when you’re cooking!”

“Hey, guys?”

They both turn, pink cheeks and flashing eyes, to Sam, who’s grinning wide and pointing to the stove behind them. “Is that supposed to be smoking like that?”

I figured it might prove entertaining. And I cannot keep these feels to myself. :p I just started season 3. Honestly, I expected it to be better? I’ve been hearing/seeing all this hype for decades. I mean, obviously I’m invested, and I had a similar reaction to early eps SPN. But SPN resolved these issues by season two and started being, just....good. I’d heard for forever that Whedon was this forward thinker and Buffy was a feminist icon, but this is just rife with sexism. Poor writing. Shit characters. (Good ones, too. I would take a bullet for Willow and Giles.) Rape culture is something we crack jokes about, apparently. And sexualizing a minor is a-okay. Pairing her with a grown ass man is all hunky dory. It’s creepy in a real, non-spooky, gross kind of way. You know all those memes where we make fun of the way men write women? With their boobs boobing boobily? This has the same vibe to me. Only the woman in question is a teenager. Not only does Joss not seem to know how to write women, he sure af doesn’t know how to write kids with any depth or understanding. Or parents. It’s caricature. It’s like, Buffy’s achieved some depth, but she’s still surrounded by cardboard cutouts. Plot holes abound. I just... This show has me in fits. And if given half the chance, I’d castrate Xander Fucking Harris. 

Alec walks beside his date on their way to Magnus’ loft. Being the gentleman that he is, he’d offered to walk Magnus home. Conversation is light, easy going. Alec’s never had a blind date before but he didn’t have high hopes. Izzy’s taste in men has never inspired much hope in Alec. Except Magnus is beautiful, and smart, and kind. He makes Alec feel at ease, makes him feel warm all over. They’ve only just met but Alec can already see the potential the two of them have. 

“Thank you so much for dinner tonight,” Magnus says, pulling Alec from his musings, only just now realizing they’re at Magnus’ loft. 

“It was my pleasure,” Alec tells him honestly, blushing when Magnus smiles up at him. 

Magnus touches his ear cuff, looking at the ground. Reaching into his pocket, he tries to grab his keys only to drop them on the ground. Alec is only human, that’s his excuse for ogling at Magnus’ perfect ass when he bends over. He bites his lip, stifling a groan of appreciation when his eyes catch something lacy at the top of Magnus’ pants. Oh fuck. Alec just got an eyeful of Magnus’ underwear and he likes what he sees. 

“I wanna see you again,” Alec blurts out, only embarrassed until Magnus beams at him, his entire face lighting up. 

“Yes,” Magnus says back, touching Alec’s shoulder, lighting sparking Alec’s body at the touch. “I would love that.”

@mittensmorgul *nervous laughter* and where’s Eileen? I know she’s mentioned in the description but where is she. You have no clue how worried I am that they’re gonna kill her again! Well…yeah maybe you know how I feel lol

hmm, I really don't like to speculate on stuff like this, especially when so many people are so invested in a particular outcome to things, but... Eileen's absence from these photos is... pretty much what I expected?

We know she's in the episode (at least the beginning, because I have to assume that things will be picking up effectively where we left them in 15.08). And I've been... suspicious of Eileen's miraculous return since 15.06. I took a LOT of shit online for being suspicious about her return, but in an episode where they learn the "brutal truth" from Chuck (which is what I've desperately been waiting to hear all season, honestly), I'm not exactly worried they're gonna kill Eileen, but... I also don't know that Shoshannah has filmed any episodes out past this one.
