#dmc plasma

Plasma's a minion who does the White Rabbits bidding with no thoughts in his head. The only interesting thing about him is that he didn't kill a human baby and then after watching all the demon refugees be killed by Darkcom he blew up the building. The refugee's he knew the white rabbit was terrorizing and allowed to be terrorized. There is wasted potential with this guy because I originally thought he was a more sympathetic demon until a mutual pointed out that I was misremembering something. So yeah fuck this guy he is just as guilty as the rest of the White Rabbit's minions and just as flat.

In terms of design, Plasma is nothing to write home about. I do appreciate he isn't CGI. Taking a DMC1 enemy and making it a singular demon is a cool concept. Again I find it interesting that they chose boss enemies from each game (except DMC2) but chose a regular enemy from DMC1. I really don't think they like nonhuman character designs in this show..... that's about demons...

I don't want to put a ton of blame on Studio Mir, but it really makes me wonder if the decision to make demons just humans but from another dimension was because of the animation studio limitations. Like something weird is going on with them heavily relying on humanoid designs or making more monstrous designs look human and I can't be the only one that see's it.

Style Ranking:

Style and Sexiness: 5/15. Just a blue guy.

Functionality: 8/10. Can change into whatever.

Originality: 7/10. A enemy type from DMC1 turned into just one guy.

Meanwhile, Vergil continued to explain to Matteo and Charles-Phillip why Mundus was the absolute worst. “Furthermore, Mundus even ensured his servants cannot interbreed with any other type of demon or devil unless he specifically allows it.” His nose wrinkled for a microsecond in disgust. “I tell you this because Mundus is always seeking new forms of power he can control, and that means new breeds of specialized underlings. So if you see other demons amidst the refugees that look like a hybrid of their sort, then proceed with caution, for those ones will not bow to you without a display of your power over them. And even then, I would watch them closely.”

Dante got a horrible, sinking feeling as his mind flashed back to his first contact with the Rabbit's gang. “Oh shit! The demon baby!”

“What?” all three of the others chorused, staring at him.

Flapping a hand, Dante explained quickly, “Sorry! I meant one of the White Rabbit’s goons. He looked like a plasma demon, all blue and sparky, and he could shift into other forms like the plasmas, but a million times better. If I didn’t have my demon radar, he would’ve smoked me the first time we met. But…” his eyes went to Vergil’s, “you told me that he flipped out when DARKCOM killed the demon refugees. Blew up the building and himself.”
