General: Patty differs from the other devil hunters due to her sorceress heritage and her non-combative priorities. While she is capable of staggering weaker enemies, with stronger opponents or bosses her attacks lack the strength to stagger by themselves. Instead of a DT gauge, she has a Subjugation gauge. She has three weapons: barehanded, her revolvers, and Miss Reliable.

Movement: Patty does not have access to Air Hike, but she can extend her height before she jumps with a flood of magic. She can kick and backflip off the environment and enemies. Attacking in the air will not stall her fall, unlike with other characters.

Barehanded: A flood of magic turns Patty's punches and kicks from mild annoyance to bruising for Patty's targets. She can guard attacks in this state as well; outside of a perfect block, she'll take full damage, but if you nail the short window, she'll take no damage and immediately counter-attack. If you break Miss Reliable, you'll default to this mode until it's fixed.

Revolvers: Patty has a pair of revolvers but will only use one at a time, for a total of 12 shots. The damage output isn't great, but the reload time is worse! Luckily, Patty can still run while reloading and you can stop it at any time if you need to evade an attack or swap weapons.

Miss Reliable: A mysterious, weak devil arm that was gifted to Patty by Dante for her 15th birthday, after her old broom broke in a demon attack. It has faster attacks than Patty's hand-to hand, but it will break after too many strikes or parries on an enemy, which fills Patty's Subjugation meter by 4 points. It can repair by itself after a few seconds, or if Patty uses absorbed demonic energy on it. It has two modes—broom mode and mop mode.

Broom mode— The broom's attacks are faster, and certain combos will push away enemies for some breathing room.

Mop mode— Patty pours magic into Miss Reliable, sending waves of watery cleansing spells over any demons in range, melting through their HP.

Subjugation Meter: Patty shows off her sorceress talents by expending this meter. She starts with a maximum of 5 points unlike the 3 of DT and will gain them twice as quickly, but it takes 5 points to cast a Subjugation spell. Casting such a spell will hamper the abilities of any demon in range, and Subjugation halos will appear around their necks. The shortest spell stops their movements completely, and lasts 5 seconds. The longest spells last 12 seconds, and reduce the kinds of attacks demons can unleash while active. Upgrades increase the range and variety of spells.

Patty can choose to absorb the power of demons with Subjugation halos. This damages any demon she does this to. She can use this demonic power to heal over time and power up her attacks. Miss Reliable cannot take damage while Patty is still burning through the stolen energy. She can also choose to expend all of it at once, healing great amounts of health, staggering enemies too close, and spitting out a fireball with any excess energy.
