hi!! i most certainly can. this ship happened by accident while i was messing around with divine ships during sapphic september but the longer i think about it the more i like it

first theres the non zero chance of them knowing each other through godwin (which can lead to so many scenarios, and i am fond of the idea of divine stealing jack away). there's also the fact that it's canon in arc v that they know each other bc divine got beat by jack like in a flashback. they kind of dance around each other in canon because jack goes to arcadia, divine mentions jack as godwin's puppet and the idea of that just makes me wonder

then theres just.... i think they'd work, personality wise but i'm not sure how im so sure of it. i think there's a softness somewhere under the surface in both of them, you just have to get through a lot of shards of glass to get there. i think someone equally as stubborn could and would brute force their way through a facade to get to the soft underneath, that's all i'm sayin

yusei/jack;

2. what their love letters look like

yusei rambles a little in his, he has a lot of love to give and not quite enough paper so the writing is quite small at the bottom trying to squeeze it all in. lots of stuff about loving her and seeing a future with her. usually paired with a small gift that he made her. jack's are a lot shorter than yusei's in comparison, but thats just because she's way more to the point with her words. emotionally, it's the same stuff (a future together, loving each other, being proud of him). she doodles in the margins little stardusts and archfiends (they're holding hands)

13. which makes a bigger deal of birthdays

jack without a doubt. her birthday is an EVENT. should be an international holiday if she had her way. she knows yusei's more lowkey but she will not let him brush it off as if its just another day. (though, yusei does make a big deal out of jack's birthday too, he's just very much beat by jack. if it was their kid though? god they're insufferable)

1. which one is the better cook

while jack, to me, can cook decent food (thanks martha), divine's definitely the better cook of the two. he has more patience for the tedious side of it, and is at least a little less averse to following instruction

not sure, jack effectively forced divine's birthday out of him. he lets her make a fuss out of it in private. so she's clearly a big deal kinda girl but... divine absolutely dotes on her to insane degrees so her birthday would be treated as a huge huge deal to him too

3. which one outlives the other, and how they cope

ohhhh my god. honestly probably jack but he would NOT cope whatsoever. losing someone you love is something jack struggles a lot with, so he would probably have a pretty horrific depressive episode over it.

6. how they decorated their bedroom

i fully imagine a room with soft purples and greens ngl. maybe paired with white? they've got a few bookcases with divine's literature and jack's manga all mixed in together, along with a plush of red dragon archfiend sat on the top of divine's "to read" pile. their bedding is super thick and soft (in the winter at least). there's photos on the walls of their family too (team 5ds winning the wrgp, divine with aki at her uni graduation, a photo of jack and yusei at yusei's wedding, that sorta stuff)

9. which one swears more

absolutely jack, without a doubt. (divine DOES swear too, jack just grew up in satellite and has some creative swears for things)

12. what they do for their anniversary

they tend to go on holidays (abroad or a staycation, both work) around their anniversary and make a bit of a big deal of it. when they get married, their wedding anniversary is the one they celebrate via trips (oh and lots of sex)

Jack had gotten good at keeping herself occupied during off-season. She had tried a handful of different hobbies, and settled on one that surprised everyone, including herself. She had a keen eye, and a steady hand, and found that landscapes and night skies were relatively easy.

Her phone sat perched, zoomed in on a photo she had taken a few months prior. Divine recognised it the second he saw it.

“Painting again, my love?” He announced himself before closing the gap, arms wrapping tight around her waist – he didn’t want her to mess a brushstroke up because he had spoken too loudly.

Immediately, Jack was leaning against him, and he noticed the tiny amount of grey paint on her cheek. “Yeah. Do you like it?” It was mostly finished – it seemed she had put far more effort into this one than any of her other pieces.

yusei/aki:

ough. i don't ship it anywhere near as much as i used to, but its absolutely the most canon 5ds ship barring ig jack/carly. its sweet too, and i just want yusei and aki to both be happy

i think the tenderness between them is just. good shit, ngl.

ok i need to be honest: a lot of yuaki shippers and i just do not see eye to eye. prooooooobably the whole divine thing looming in the bg. i truly believe that if aki wanted divine in her life, yusei would let her do so.
