His lore is fascinating. He additionally hoards others' attention,and I'm thinking actually sew together his own wings before he learned to shapeshift, to attract that attention.

His animal is a peacock for that reason. When he wants people to pay attention to him, he'll fluff up his wings like a peacock's tail.

He also is an expert seamstress which he learned before being so good at manipulating matter himself.

And as a shapeshifter, the concept of gender is really kinda lost on him. (He typically goes by he/him, but only to gain attention and respect from others)

Their lore is INSANE and totally worth reading when I finish editing it, but the premise is they hung out in Athens and ran the library for a while with Justice. (Yes, think of the lady with the blindfold and scale. I kept her design true to our world because I think she hung around and was highly respected by the mortals and they made statues of her.

(sorry, no I don't have a Liberty yet. 😅😭)

Basically they were working together and traveling together to seek out philosophies, and ideas to create a universal moral code and law system.

Obviously it did not go as planned. But I won't spoil much else for you just yet 😉

Oh and they are supposed to have glasses, but they were around well before they were invented, and I may have forgotten that so don't mind that they have them while sitting on the temple step hehe.

His weapon of choice is a whip which I thought was a cool idea. I was trying to give the idea that he can "drive almost anyone forward" with it, but when I delved into the history of whip making, I found that (some of them) were made to make noise, rather than cause physical pain to drive animals like cattle etc. his whip does burn with the power of the sun and would burn to be struck with, but I liked the noise idea a lot because Ambition is LOUD about his ideas. His actions have always created huge disturbances in humanity's development, as well as startling others who cling to the old ideas he tries to leave behind, and his weapon should reflect that.

I included the two sources I read up on that mention this below. Not sure how creditable they are, but I loved the idea for this character!

The whip is also signature to him because back in the days of humanity developing agriculture/industry, animals, particularly horses, were very important for humans progress in industry as well as travel.

You may also notice he has (what's supposed to be) a grappling hook on his belt. This was a spur of the moment addition to his character. The lore states he can throw it as far as he "can see".

For his animal form, im thinking Peregrine falcon. I do want him to be able to fly, despite that seemingly rendering his grapple "useless". But the idea was, he didn't always have this ability. He too, in his previous form, had to learn how to "fly" to become ambition as he is today, just as humanity learned to walk, run and eventually build empires.

The grapple after a certain time period of development mainly has interstellar implications. The lore goes that gravity orbits exist because he was swinging around the cosmos and made objects like planets etc. orbit around their adjacent stars in an attempt to recreate more "Earth's" but he didn't have the ability to synthesize the compounds he needed to stimulate more life on other planets. At least, not in our barren corner of the galaxy.

But hidden inside the heart of stars he after finds out, this ability thrives. When humanity learns about "nuclear fusion" he goes full Icarus mode and tries to harness it.

Or like Prometheus, trying to get the mortals to figure out how to do it themselves.

Anyways, this guy is pretty important to the lore of the story, so I'll probably try to post more on him. His personality is hilarious so I hope you'll come to love him like I do!

Oh and basically he stared to long into the sun, so I'm thinking he has vision problems "sunspots" or potentially colourblind or something. Not sure yet. But his eyes glow so bright that the others make him wear sunglasses.

I don't know why, but I can't imagine him without glasses. I just can't. I tried.

He also has a bunch of burn marks from "getting too close to the sun". I'm thinking he's proud of them like Mater from Disney's cars is proud of his dents, and calls them his "sunspots".

I'm also thinking, more recently in human history, he trades his adventuring boots in for soccer cleats or something like them so he can run fast. He's a ball of energy.
