Hair done.... ✔️ Check Nails done.... ✔️ ✔️ Check and redone Outfit.....✔️✔️✔️ Majority Rules (only missing shoes) Prepared for my date ✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️Always whenever he asks. I promised my Home Team Family that I would celebrate me more especially the small stuff because all blessings are for my good. It was also unexpected to hear that I unknowingly blessed others just by being me. This year got off to a very rocky and rough start. I was already dealing with depression & anxiety on a high level due to the progression of Sarcoidosis and it's ugly tricks and for that to be followed by making the toughest decision of my life with my family didn't keep the gray people away, it just brought them back out in full force. I'm not a quitter and giving up isn't in my nature. Sometimes I need help getting out of my moment and that came through with #ContinuedConfirmation that God spared my life for a reason, my dash is not done yet. So as I look back over my life, I can truly say that I have been wondrously blessed with family I never would have met #ButGod I may not enjoy the circumstances of how or why but so grateful to have them in my life as we do battle, encourage, inspire & uplift each other. 24hours to Birthday 48. Thank you God that I don't look like what I've been and continue to go through. Getting back to feeling like Diva. So happy and thankful for my new Home Health Team and my supportive nail tech. Everyone knows how I feel about butterflies and use it to describe my journey with Sarcoidosis. If left up to man, I shouldn't be here right now, #ButGod I shouldn't have as much movement and coordination that I have #ButGod and #PrayerWarriors I shouldn't be able to talk and communicate as well as I do #ButGod and #IFightToWin also have #FamilyOverEverything They help keep me #Divafied #Divalicious and remembering #ADivasWorth All I can say is Thank You, Thank You, Thank You. Thank you so much Simply Bold Nails @nailsbyher_215 for working with me doing a home visit to help me get #Divafied Even though it was our first meeting, I truly enjoyed how comfortable you made me feel and loved playing in the stickers and rhinestones. I look forward to our next adventure when the time comes for a refill. Next step is finding a braider/stylist that does home visits so I can get my hair done & build back my hair & wig collection. I already get the comments that I don't look sick, but at least I can feel better about being sick. So blessed that aides that don't even work with me anymore still check in. This time I got my hair done. Purple Passion for many of my diseases and disorders. This really lifted my spirits. I just can't thank her and my other aides for keeping up with me and truly letting me know that we are family. My new aides have started this week and so far they too are a good fit. I truly enjoyed my day. Today it was all about me, even though my body is still adjusting to being without pain meds (don't ask). I was able to get out and play (yes, I was double masked the whole time) I shopped until I was getting ready to drop and even my wallet was tired because that strap popped. Seriously, look at the picture....that's when we knew it was time to come home. You know it's a long day when you leave the house when your aide comes and by the time you come home and try to get situated, it's time for her to go 🛍️🛍️🛒🛒🏷️🏷️👗👗🚗🚗🚗💸💸💸 I'm truly trying to start my birthday month with no worries. I've been down this road before and still came out on top. Shopping and doing creative things is truly my outlet. One trip down, another is coming to me...probably before the weekend is over & I'm getting ready to order my additional masks now.... I really truly enjoyed getting my hair and nails done by @major_grabbies on Thursday. I finally was able to find a stylist that wasn't family that I could truly mesh with that also made house calls for disabled clients only. I was able to explain my hypersensitivity with my head and she took great care. There were several times that she wanted to stop especially when she approached the areas where the lesions in my brain are located (because of the temperature change), my very deep & tender soft spot & the way my scalp moves like a baby's would. I just kept explaining, encouraging her that I was fine & had enough pain meds on board to get me through. She also wants to make wigs for when the hypersensitivity or Sarcoid issues are too great..just like my 2 sistas would. I was surprised at the speediness of getting the appointment (2 days after our conversation after saying she has several bookings). Best of all it's not often that both Daddy & Rufus like my hair.... especially in braids so you know she gets props.....Daddy even gave her a thumbs up and said to tell her thank you so much. Sometimes people forget that even though a person is sick, getting dressed up with your hair & nails done or a fresh cut can change your outlook about what you are going through on a daily basis just fighting to live. They just see the outside and say #YouDontLookSick so you must be faking your symptoms or the diseases. Many know how hard I fight everyday to always keep a smile and a positive outlook so this was truly a gift to myself. They also know the strength it takes for me to get my nails done and the strength for me to sit for micros.... And I sat for both at the same time.
