I work in a restaurant, I think that this is the dishwasher that they use: http://www.foodservicewarehouse.com/insinger/commander-18-6h/p545768.aspx

I moved to a place with hard water and even though I bought many rinse aid agents, nothing seemed to work and all my dishes came out with water spots.
I added vinegar to the rinse and magic happened. All the dishes looked clean and sparkling and smelled wonderful! No vinegar smell at all.

The other sponge Life Hack: reminded me of this. I live in an area with hard water and I've had lots of troubles with mineral stains–not only are they unsightly, but the mineral buildup in your body over time can lead to kidney stones. You can get two gallons of vinegar at Costco for about $ 3. Saturate a clean sponge in vinegar and put it on the top rack. As the dishwasher runs, the water will push the vinegar out of the sponge and distribute it over your dishes. Works better than anything else I've tried.

Remove bottom rack and run on a hot cycle with one cup of vinegar in the top rack.
You can use a packet of unsweetened lemonade. It must be unsweetened.
Bleach works for mold but not if your interior is stainless steel. Don't use bleach on stainless steel.
